Perfect for eating healthier and smaller portions

This was a perfect book for me. The insight and actions this book suggests for eating more mindfully helped me eat less and choose healthier foods, which is exactly what I needed! I love the idea it provided regarding using a serving plate to gather food and using a much smaller plate to serve yourself to actually eat from. Doing this and taking time to really look at and smell the food, as well as really contemplating your current feelings and hunger, truly help reduce food intake and feel much more satisfied with what was eaten. I definitely recommend this book to anyone who needs help with maintaining a diet or losing weight. :)

The narration was very pleasant to listen to and helped me to stay focused on what was said.

Finally, a way to peace with food

I have struggled with emotional eating for years, so I was eager to try the mindful eating approach. It really opened my eyes to how I use food to cope with stress and other emotions. The information on finding joy in every bite and eating what you want in moderation was so freeing! This is not a restrictive diet book at all. The practical tips for dealing with triggers and cravings were extremely helpful for me. This book has helped me transform the way I see food and helped me develop a much healthier mindset. If you want to improve your relationship with food, I highly recommend listening!

Lovely

It encourages readers to be very aware of their eating habits, as well as the flavor, feel, and aroma of food. Readers can avoid overeating and make better food decisions by becoming more aware of their dining experience and learning to identify their hunger and fullness cues.
