very well written. I practice ceremonial magick. but Mat writes in a language that is easy to understand. for this reason, found his work to be easy to adapt into my own practice. very well done.

Witch King!

There are a few books that I consider to be my Bible as a witch. This is one of the top! I bought the physical book first and then decided I needed this audio. (Tip: slow down the reading the speed as he reads the meditations/exercises and bam! You have a guided meditation! Some of the most powerful exercises I’ve come across!)
I absolutely adore Mat’s work wholeheartedly! And recommend to everyone! I absolutely love that he shared glimpses of his childhood.I wasn’t a foster kid but my parents did become foster parents and even adopted 3 siblings that I love like were blood! I seen some of the homes those poor kids would come from so even though I hadn’t personally experienced the trauma that comes along with the foster care system, I was able to correlate it to things I’ve seen and heard and even live the experiences vicariously through this book. The way he articulates his story and the imagery he produces as you read is brilliant! You can literally see mats journey of growth throughout the book! I hope to get an autograph someday! I’m his biggest fan!
