it's getting better than I expected..

the narrator was a pleasant surprise, acting out each character. I have issues reading for long periods of time; I usually can read for about 10 minutes before headache sets in. Audible has been great but books take longer to go audio. I can't wait until the 4th book of Paragon is on audiobook.

Narrator makes the story

Loved the story line!! And the Narrator does her thing yet again and makes a good book AWESOME.

The 3 of the treasures of Paragon have found each other and the gorgeous sister has found her mate, except it's not a dragon. Fast, dangerous, with amazing love scenes. I read it twice before I could let it go and read the next in the series. Great read!!

Better narration

This series of books are intriguing and well written. The first two I was not thrilled with the narrator as there was no difference in any of the voices. Holly, on the other hand, did a great narration!!!

Good story executed less than expected

The writing of this story made me wonder whether GJ had a ghostwriter on this one. The storyline was good but the execution was a 3/5, not like GJ at all.
There was r*pe (not on screen) which is super unlike her for this series, and the consensual spicy scenes were very lacking in depth and description. Overall, the sensory descriptions were lacking throughout and I found myself not able to picture the settings well.
I was also a little miffed by how weak the FL was. She’s a dragon, and I expected her to exhibit more of the same fervor as her brothers. Sabrina for example from book 2 was more what I was expecting of Rowan. She could still have been the empathetic loving caregiver (just like Sabrina had been) but she should’ve been powerful. As a Princess who was not taught to fight or do magic, she would’ve learned other ways to survive. Manipulation, deception, and persuasion. Mostly this “power” was exploited from her and got her in trouble several times, as if she didn’t know how to wield it. She leaned on her magical accomplice way too much and was weak. I found myself not liking her as much as I wanted to.
I will of course continue the series because one rough book in a good series happens.

Not worth the time.

This series had potential, but the author felt it was more important to dilute the story with lude and overly explicit sex scenes.
