Best Damn Story I've Had in Awhile

amazing just amazing I love this story is couldn't stop myself from crying and cheering them on.

Found I did enjoy this audio book. Started out a little slow but came together and kept me wanting to listen to find out how it was they would resolve the situation

I like M.R. Forbes. I think his book Starship Eternal book 1 is well worth a full credit.

This book should be 1.99 with whispersync. The story has been done and the narrator speaks very slowly but not fast enough for 1.25 speed.

Great suspense

The reader gets to know everything in advance, and yet, the story and performance are still with you tight.
Worth every minute of listening.

If Jeff Hayes wasn't reading this....

Honestly, if Jeff Hayes wasn't the narrator I wouldn't have gotten to chapter 62. I gave up after that. And it was a struggle to get there based on the story because by then I had already figured out the plot and there were little to no surprises left the author could throw at me. It's a typical post alien invasion story, it's all been done before, which if fine if that's your thing - more power to you. It was just too predictable and I was bored if not for the delivery of the characters. The basis of the conflicts were strange to me as well, like the author was forcing conflict when there were obvious resolutions already in progress.

Eh. I don't see the problematic religious undertones other readers had an issue with either - I didn't get any of that while listening, lots of issues with plot holes and character development but none with religious ideation. But all sci-fi has some of that, I'm looking at you The Matrix and Foundation lol This was an ok read but my particular flavor of ADHD couldn't keep me engaged enough to get to the end.

The story was stellar!!! Backing it up with an awesome voice performance, it just made it into an epic series! I can't wait to hear the next chapter!!!

Surprisingly good

this book was a lot of fun it just needed a little more excitement from the reader but the story was great

Consistent story telling and suspense throughout the book. a few characters began to sound the same, potentially due to all being human and similar region but overall pleased with Jeff Hayes work as usual.
