My name is Klutch Zuma. I was the number one graduate from my recruit class. As it turns out, it was just the start of several unlikely number ones I would achieve during my rise through the ranks. In many cases, I was promoted over a host of more qualified individuals based on my survival skills alone. To say that my unusual progress caused a lot of friction between me and my superiors, would be an understatement. Some went out of their ways to throw up roadblocks that would make my life miserable. It only hardened my resolve and made me persevere through the worst they could throw at me.

Interesting continuation of Caleb Card adventures
While I missed a section of the adventures of Caleb Card, I understood enough to enjoy this book. This is a good start to another set of adventures.

Very entertaining story!
M.R. Forbes is an excellent storyteller. The narrator also did a fantastic job. I am behind in reading the overall series arc (this is the 9th set) but I still had no problem following and enjoyed every bit of this amazing tale. I look forward to the rest of the series!

Just started the 2nd book and at 11 minutes in I'm ready to stop listening! I can't stand characters with a self-righteous sense of honor...
