Publisher's Summary

In the early 22nd century, humanity has spread through the solar system - and their electromagnetic signals have traveled hundreds of light years. An alien race called the Oghaldzon has decided that mankind is dangerously insane...and must be forcibly taken under control.

The invasion fleet's technology is decades ahead of Earth's best. They have more ships than the human fleets combined, and a seemingly-inexhaustible number of ground troops. And they're not afraid to kill billions of people.

Humanity is outnumbered, outgunned, and divided. But they have a few cards left to play - and they're not going down without a fight.

Perfect for Incels!

Honestly I was deeply disappointed in this book. The story was meh (forgivable) however it was filled with sexist garbage seemingly written by a chat group of Incel trolls. To say nothing of the anti science /climate change conspiracy understory.

Skip it.

And Leo/Christopher you can do better, it's 2019...Grow up.

Jeffrey, do you read these things before you agree to narrate them?

I had High hopes for it. Then I had hopes that I could get through chapter three . I was wrong in this line of wishful thinking.

Yada, yada, yada

I'm not even sure this book deserves 1 star. Reads like a boring history professor droning on and on about an interesting subject he imparts as a series of facts leaving out all discussion of cause and effect of human motivations. I skipped around trying to find anything in the story that didn't remind me of my worst college lectures that left me remembering only th3 "blah, blah, bllah" and nothing of the story. Definitely going back. Was hoping it would be more like Drake's RCN series.

Solid Sci Fi

This was a good, solid military and contemporary sci fi the type we are use to seeing from Christopher Nuttall and Leo Champion.
