Excellent Read

As someone who identifies with several HSP qualities I thought this was very thoughtful and helpful. I am going to have my husband read next, and excited for the conversations it prompts. I loved that even from the HSP perspective it helped me think about the aspects that are different that I can speak up more clearly about using the examples and narrative from the book. Audio version was easy to listen to!

Loving an HSP person just got easier

It is difficult when you pride yourself on practical and down-to-earth, or just or just happy-go-lucky and you are in a relationship with an HSP. It feels like you live on different planets at times. All the things you brush off so easily seem to matter so intensely to them and they get very upset if they feel you are dismissive of their fears or worries.
This book helps by decoding the differences between the two mindsets so you can meet in a place of understanding. I think this book is equally useful for the HSP, any book that makes the relationship journey easier is worthwhile and this book does just that.

Research on hsps and the temperament is fairly new and this is the only book currently that helps in understanding your hsp partner. Read this to help guide my daughter who is hsp and ended up also getting benefit to understand myself, also a hsp. I did gather the traits that are harmonious in a partner for hsps and excited to have this info. Gave me insight also as to why the dynamic between my husband and I works so well. Gained alot from listening to this book.
