Loved ever moment, made King Solomon and his writings more understandable, especially near the end of the book

So good, I will definitely read again.

This story makes the Bible Book Song of Solomon come to life. I rarely listen to a story twice, but I will enjoy hearing this one again.

A Hallmark Movie in a Book

I struggled with the leaps this books took at times. Such as when Solomon, a wise man, promises to sleep with only one women. A man of his training and wisdom, with many wives already, would have known better. Historical accuracy is iffy. The narrator remains just as stiff as she is in the sample. I very much enjoyed the author's book based on Daniel, so I was a little disappointed on this one, but it's an easy listen if you just need entertainment.

Tinder yet realistic love story

I loved the narrators voice and I thought the author did a wonderful job in re-creating the song of Solomon. What I didn’t like was the weak character of Solomon. It seems to me she could have strengthened him making the plot better and more true to the biblical version. This is my first book to read by this author and I find her delightful. She picked a very difficult book in the Bible and all in all she did a very good job of re-creating it for the modern mind to understand.

I love the way this author elaborated on a true Bible story. Wonderful job. Narrator was perfect, easy to understand, follow, and just an all around great job.

Another amazing book from Mesu!!

I’ve listened to every single audiobook of hers (except for finishing Isaiah’s Daughter, not the right time for that one) and each have deepened and broadened my wonder and amazement at the richness of God’s story and His love for us, despite our brokenness.

A wonderful story based on The Song of Solomon

I loved all of this book to the very end. The focus is on the woman of The Song of Solomon. I wonder if it entirely made up, or if the author found some kind of writings from that era in history that validate any of her story (since virtually nothing of her is in the Bible beyond he beautiful love words expressed between her and King Solomon. No matter, the story here is wonderful. But is there anyway to know what parts might be true?

A Beautiful Life.

Beautifully written. An otherwise ugly and painful story to tell, but the writer managed to keep getting me to focus on the beautiful moments in the midst of a harsh life. Lives should be redefined just like the author did in this story.
