Amazing, thrilling, challenging!

This one is a nail- biter! I stayed up way too late several nights because I couldn’t stop listening. The story is heart wrenching; the characters emotionally powerful; the transformative power of their faith- challenging and inspiring. I loved the story though at times I just wanted to get past the agony! It really brought Jobs suffering to life! I really appreciate how Mesu takes the time to explain from where and how she accumulated her research and developed it into fiction while using as much fact and scripture as possible. What a gifted and inspiring author. I have just finished reading- listening to all of her novels. What a blessing!

Compelling Story of Faith and Trust

Most of us will struggle with doubts, shame, and regrets at some point in our lives. This book captivates the love that God has for us, forgiveness and redemption. The author does a phenomenal job of character development, and keeping you on this edge-of-your-seat as to what will happen next. I would highly recommend this book.

EXCELLENT!!!

Mesu Andrews is an excellent author. I wasn’t sure if I would enjoy this book about Job, since his story has so much suffering, but I thoroughly enjoyed this book and I found myself reading the scriptures to learn more. My only difficulty is following all the different characters names that are so similar in sound and unfamiliar to me. Thank You for all the effort that went into this wonderful work of Literature for us to enjoy and learn from.

Positively inspired.

Beautiful imagination with a basis in biblical truth. Best narrator I have heard yet. Every voice was distinctive. Characters came to life. I did have to go back and review the line of Isaiah to gain a better grasp of the relatives. I will read this book again. Phenomenal.

This is amazing

I have read the entire Bible and continue to study it. I learn so much better with stories like this to make characters come alive and imagine what the times were like. I know it’s fiction but there was research well done and the writing and story was impressive.

I listened to this on my sister's recommendation, and I am so pleased I did. The story is compelling, interesting, and thought-provoking. The narrator is most excellent.

Mesu draws my heart to Read God's Word

Her stories are compelling. They bring the Bible to life. They paint a picture of our Biblical Giants and heroes as people. Like you and I, who experience confusion, pain of heart and or body, they just do the next right thing and remain faithful to a God bigger than it all. Suddenly these bigger than life heroes have the same or bigger struggles as I do. And Suddenly, in the midst of my struggles, it's easier to declare faithfulness to God.
