Gods His-story brought to life

So wonderful to have a treasured Bible story brought to life. This was one of my favourite stories growing up.

Could not stop listening! OT comes to life!

Unbelievable narration gives each character a distinct voice! Liked this, however...

I have listened to most of Mesu Andrews’ audiobooks , and of course the characters are always very intriguing and is what draws me into the story. I wanted to hear more about Jezebel and her schemes and General Jesu and his wildness over cleaning up the country. I know it’s just a story in between lines of the Bible, it would have been more listening friendly to hear about them and less about war. And I must have missed the part about Anna(the priests 1st wife) what in the world happened to her???

Every believer should read this to understand the history of Israel and God's undying love for all of us.

This story brought color and detail to this biblical story. One of my favorite audible books. The narration was amazing.

Amazing

Totally loved this book. Couldn't wait to get back to it. Mesu Andrews has accomplished her goal - to encourage people back into the scriptures. While I've read all of the scriptures related to these characters, I had to go back and read again as it all makes more sense. I love how this book reintroduces the power of a true Godly relationship between husband and wife and how patience and forgiveness are paramount to strengthening our relationships with each other and our Father.

She makes the Bible account come to life in such a way that I can get my own spiritual growth application. I may have read these Bible chapters numerous times and can not see an application for me in my day but Mesu points it out.

Gripping and faith building

The battle between good and evil contrasting the very personal struggles of the marriage and hearts of Jahoshiba and the high priest make this a powerful read! The characters are deep, the struggles real, the action moving… and this reimagine of the terrible Jezebel… well done!
