Rival interns with sizzling chemistry in and out of the kitchen? That’s a recipe for love.

“Sweet and satisfying!” (Jenna Evans Welch, New York Times best-selling author of Love & Gelato)

This summer, Reese Camden is trading sweet tea and Southern hospitality for cold brew and crisp coastal air. She's landed her dream marketing internship at Friends of Flavor, a wildly popular cooking channel in Seattle. The only problem? Benny Beneventi, the relentlessly charming, backwards-baseball-cap-wearing culinary intern—and her main competition for the fall job.

Reese's plan to keep work a No Feelings Zone crumbles like a day-old muffin when she and Benny are thrown together for a video shoot that goes viral, making them the internet's newest ship. Audiences are hungry for more, and their bosses at Friends of Flavor are happy to deliver. Soon Reese and Benny are in an all-out food war, churning homemade ice cream, twisting soft pretzels, breaking eggs in an omelet showdown—while hundreds of thousands of viewers watch.

Reese can't deny the chemistry between her and Benny. But the more their rivalry heats up, the harder it is to keep love on the back burner....

Soooooo good

Everything about it is great. The closet scene was the best. 11/10, would recommend.

ADORABLE

THIS WAS SO ADORABLE. A great, somewhat cheesy, YA contemporary romance that involved a whole lot of cooking/baking and the sweetest cinnamon roll of a hero (I would do anything for Benny... like ANYTHING)! At times it was a little cheesy and I didn't love the conflict towards the end, but overall, I did enjoy this, mostly because of Benny LOLz

A Story Told By A Drama Queen

That was a really cute, light story .. but damn reese is such a drama queen
So the story is about Reese and Benny, they become coworkers in an intern at a cooking channel where they shoot together a sketch name " Amateur Hour ", at first they are in competition mode because they are competing for a permanent position in the channel but as the banter goes on and people are shipping them so hard they start to become more, but Reese has such an emotional baggage related to her being a girl in a society that criticize her for everything she does, how will she overcome her insecurity in light of it all ?
I liked the idea of the book and the Benny is such a sweet cake ( pun intended ) but Reese was really hard to deal with, she can't find a more understanding person than Benny yet she always jumps to conclusion when it comes to him because she is jealous of him .. I liked the ending but I would liked to see more development in her character because she is still a drama queen until the very end
