I have yet to finish the book but this Vilinsky has the perfect voice for the character. Her narration is phenomenal and really draws you in to the book. Absolutely lovely.

This book was recommended to me by a friend as a feel-good one and it definitely did not disappoint.

The character growth was great and I found myself becoming attached to all of them, even the side characters. (Lowkey hoping Jocelyn gets her own book!)

Can I reread immediately?

Or would that be weird?
I wanted to be Liz and live this book. The author completely nailed everything, from misreading jaw clenches to the “nah-uh”.(iykyk) I was on the emotional rollercoaster next to Liz the whole time- and loved who was waiting at the end of the ride.

overall i really enjoyed this books, i listened and followed along with a copy of my own in the span of a day. i loved the banter and how you could tell off the bat just how much wes liked her. i do wish it was a dual pov because i think it would have made it even more interesting to hear how wes felt throughout setting up the girl he was in love with, with a close friend. the storyline of her and her stepmom was really heartwarming but attributing to that I do wish there was more progress on the relationship with the dad there relationship felt distant and remained that way throughout the entire book. overall a very heartwarming read cringe and quirky at times but it really draws you back into the idea of love and understanding.

Definitely gives you the inner young love feel

I loved this book. The voices were a perfect fit for the narration. Story line was adorable: that young high school love that makes you feel giddy inside.

Goodness what a sweet story! So much fun and a book every single one of my friends adores. It was addictive though!

Rom com mixed with fun!

I don’t read much ya anymore but this was a perfect mix of young love 90’s movies and the trials of life. I enjoyed every minute of this book
