this set was really cute. It covers so many different characters, you never have a chance to get bored. I never read the book, I've only listen to it. I am not a big-time audiobook person, so I don't have much to compare it to, but I did like the narrator. She didn't try and force male voices to sound overly deep or masculine, and I actually like that, it worked for her. I had no trouble following along with all the different characters too even though it was all voiced with one narrator.

(3.5 stars) - fluffy entertainment

This is a lighthearted & fun YA enemies-to-lovers story. Morgan believes she's hit on a great way to supplement her limited college student income - matchmaking.

It's all downhill from there - which leads to some confusing & sometimes amusing situations.

There are a few things that didn't make sense - why did one of the guys sign up for the service when he had someone & why was that someone ok with him dating someone else? And Declan & Morgan's attraction didn't seem well enough supported to endure all that transpired.

However, it was an amusing diversion & I did enjoy listening to it.

(The narrator did a respectable job though her voice seemed to struggle with the lower register at times)

A Fun & Lighthearted Listen

This set follows Morgan as she becomes the Date Maker. This is a lighthearted listen that will have you laughing and shaking your head for most of the stories. I enjoyed all four books and it seems that Murphy's Law runs rampant. These are fun easy listens that will have you wondering what all is going to happen (read...go wrong) in the next installment. The narration was done well with my only complaint being the distinction between male and female voices. The narrator didn't attempt any deeper tones for the males. I'm not saying she should have become baritone or anything but a slightly deeper tone would have been nice. Overall, an enjoyable listen I feel is worth your time.

Very Enjoyable

I really enjoyed this and was happy to listen to this book. Disastrous Dates kept me entertained through the whole book. I will definitely be seeking more by this author.

cute heartwarming story

This collection of stories was a great listen. what could go wrong seemed to go wrong for them. opposites do attract.
narration was a bit off for me. not really a fluctuation in voices between the characters that I like to hear
