Publisher's summary

Forced into hiding after witnessing her fiancé commit murder, artist Faith Chadwick finds her own faith lagging. For safety, she temporarily moves in with her sister.

Best-selling author Joel Wallac is on death watch. His son is dying, and Joel can only sit helpless in the hospital room. As grief overwhelms him, he employs Faith to help him bring a storybook to life for his son, and they begin to forge a relationship even in the midst of danger and fear.

Witnessing Joel’s steadfast belief in God spurs Faith’s own wobbling faith, but when she is threatened once again, the police insist Faith needs to leave the area. Joel convinces her to accompany him on his upcoming book tour. What better way to keep her moving around too much for anyone to catch up?

With armed escort, they embark on what soon turns into a dangerous journey. When Faith's ex finds her, Joel pulls her from a dire situation. But there are consequences....

Could God have brought them together in trial and tragedy for some divine purpose, and can she overcome her doubts and fears to accept God’s will?

Struggles In Faith & Losing A Loved One

Her name is Faith and her faith is struggling. The fear and heartbreak of loosing a loved one, and now going to her sister. A father Joel, wanting Faith as an artist to bring a story book to life for his son. Seeing the courage and faith that Joel has, Then he wants her with him to promote his latest book, when danger one again comes for her. Very well done of the struggles and emotion they both had. Given audio for my voluntary review and and my honest opinion.

Poor audio

I did like the story and am in the process of trying to get more by this author. However the audio sounded like it was coming from a cave or tunnel. The narrator did a fair job. Wish the recording was better.

Another great listen in this series

I am really enjoying this series. I also like that it doesn't have to be read in order since each book focuses on different characters. They each have a great balance of romance and suspense. I also like the fact that each character has to learn something or grow in some way. Joel and Faith are an endearing couple. This book (and the others in this series) has a lot of heart. There are moments that had me near or in tears. There is a lot in this story that warmed my heart and will remain in my memory. I am sure to revisit this story again in the future. The narrator did a good job as well. She reads at a nice pace that doesn't feel rushed or to drag on. I would recommend this book to others.

Trust doesn't come easy for either of them...

Well, once again author Clare Revell has surprised me with yet another 'different' story in her Flowers Can Be Fatal series. I honestly didn't even read the book blurb since I've been listening to this series in audiobook straight from book two. Yeah, I still need to get the book for the month of January.

Anyway, I had no real expectations, except that there would be lots of British atmosphere, and for the first two-thirds or so of the book it was fairly standard romantic suspense. But then, just when I was becoming a little complacent, BAM! Everything changed.

Needless to say, I enjoyed Lily Of The Valley In May, though, I may never look at lily of the valley in the same way again. Who knew those little white flowers could be so sinister?! Faith and Joel sure find that out the hard way!

I'm probably getting a little repetitive but once again I have mixed feelings about the production aspects of this audiobook. As with the previous audiobooks in the series I loved the narrator, it's so nice to listen to a book by a British author read by a person with a real British accent. But, the sound is not very good. The recording volume is quite low and there is a definite empty room sound. Still, I just turned up the volume on my phone and didn't let those issues prevent me from enjoying the story.

(I received a copy of this book from the author/publisher. All opinions are entirely my own.)

I wonder what happened to the corrupt cop?

She has been in a toxic relationship, and was lucky to get out with her life.
Whilst staying at her sisters, she meets an author and helps him, by doing artwork for a children's book.
However, her past catches up with her and both her new friend and herself takes percursions they both face life threatening situations.
Will they get the chance they both need.
Again, this contains religious beliefs, so if this offends, then this series may not be for you.
