I’m loving this collaboration

I don’t know how they do it, but these authors have struck the perfect notes again of silly/sweet and sexy. It doesn’t seem like it would, but it works!

The steamy scenes are creative and different and 🔥🔥🔥.
Dillon and Leo each have an emotional arc through the book, separate from the arc of their relationship together.
The writing is nuanced and thoughtful, and I know I’m repeating myself, but it is different (in a good way) from other things I’ve read.

Another new to me narrator has done a fine job bringing these words to life.

I’m really enjoying this series and looking forward to the next book.

Very emotional story at times. Leo is hurting and so many levels and being a dom doesn’t mean you are always in charge or at your best. Having to hide most of the time. I respect Dylan for trying but also being honest about his heart. This one lets you get to the HEA but knowing there is still some healing that will have to happen.

What can I say, it's Dylan and he's adorable. It's cute, bittersweet, heartbreaking, funny and adorable all rolled into one.

If you enjoyed the 1st book you will enjoy this one as well. You see the other characters, and get an inside look at Leo and Dylan's connection that is just heart melting.

This book is exactly what I've been looking for. It's sweet, funny, and has just the right amount of angst.

So sweet!

Dylan, I just dont know enough words to express how much I love this guy. He is so sweet and young but knows that somehow he wants something more. Leo, his closet was so deep but he was challenged by his kitten to find his way out. Love this series so much! So sexy and hot and sweet all at the same time.

Adorable and emotional

Leo hides so much of himself that he struggles to find a balance. Dylan is absolutely adorable and I love the way he sees the world and lives in it. As these two grow closer, there is always something just out of reach. I love how they work towards it and the patience that each have for the other.

Holy sweet unicorns! This book was everything!

Dylan... GOD, Dylan! LOL! I loved him so much! He is such a cutie! I laughed so many times! I loved every scene with Dylan, he is the most unique and lovely character.
And Leo! Awww! An amazing Dom...sorry, Daddy Dom!♥ Perfect. They were perfect for each other.

I loved listening to it, the narrator did a good job, rhe voices were perfect. I just LOVED listening it. Really enjoyed rhis audio!

I could read about Leo and Dylan forever!

And the kitty-play, awww, so good! It was everything! And the way Dylan discovering the BDSM world and his kinks, and how Leo handled everything awww my gaaawd!♥

PERFECT in every way. From the very first letter to the last! It was cute, lovely, romantic, erotic, funny...and did i say, perfect?!

Meow kitty love me

I have very mixed feelings about this book. On one hand, this has a lot to love about and on the other hand, there are also some parts that frustrate me. Okay, into reviewing.

Leo Varma is a deeply closeted man who’s in their late thirties. Leo lives his life in a lie but he’s okay with that and is really hesitant to come out because of his super conservative family. And then he met Dylan, a young, lovely and innocent man who captured his attention instantly. Dylan wanted a job at the BDSM club knots and he also thinks he might be a submissive and wanted to explore that part of himself. And thus began an unconventional relationship between Leo and Dylan.

First of all, I love kitty play. And I love how cheery, lovely and innocent Dylan is. He’s like all good things wrapped up in a rainbow. Now comes the difficult part. I did not like Leo in the beginning and I had a hard time coming to terms with him even later in the series. I get him .. I really do. But the way he treated Dylan didn’t sit well with me at all. Some people are just so deep in the closet that it almost become their reality. It’s sad .. really. I wished Dylan got someone better who treated him right from the very beginning. I also have some issues with Michel Fell’s narration. He’s not a bad narrator but he definitely wasn’t the right narrator for this choice. All in all, I enjoyed it and I’m looking forward to the next book in the series.

Loved this audio

This audio was fab! I loved the story and the audio was just as I’d hoped. This is a new narrator to me but I thought he did a great job bringing this book to life!

Loved It

After meeting Leo and Dylan in Teddy and His Bear, I couldn't wait to get Dylan's story! He is such a fun character - both energetic and completely open in everything he does! Leo is the absolutely perfect daddy for Dylan! Watching them spend more time together and develop feelings for each other is outstanding! The characters and storylines in this series (and in Leo's book in particular) are unique and entertaining, especially with the added bonus of a little kink! This entire series is an instant one-click and re-listen!

Intriguing...

This wasn't an easy audiobook to rate or listen to for me.

I loved Dylan. He was so sweet and awkward and I felt he deserved more than what he got with Leo. I loved the whole kitty-play angle. I hadn't read/listened to any books with it and I enjoyed it more than I expected, I wish there had been more scenes exploring it, but I was satisfied with what we got.

I liked catching up with Barrett and Teddy and I really liked Jason, I'm not all that sure about Tony, though, or the chemistry between them, but I will probably give it a try.

I liked Leo at first, even if he was closeted. Unfortunately, after the encounter with his parents' friend at the pet store and then him bailing on Dylan for the contest dinner, I just lost any respect I could've had for him and I stopped caring about him altogether. He didn't deserve Dylan and that made me lose interest in the last part of the story. I'm sure I'll be in the minority here, but it is what it is and we like what we like, I guess.

While Michael Fell has a pleasant voice, his narration fell a bit flat for me. Still, it was enjoyable enough, it just lacked something.

Anyway, even if the book missed its mark for me in some senses, it had some fun and entertaining parts and Dylan was a lovely character to read about, so, try it out, maybe you'll like it more than I did.

Closeted "Dom", urgh, no thanks

I'm really disappointed in this book, and am abandoning it a couple of hours in.

Leo is nearly 40, a dentist, a supposed Dom, yet is pretending he's straight. Never mind the BDSM stuff, he can't even admit he's gay to his family. To the extent of making boyfriends sneak around, and having a pretend girlfriend. Said "girlfriend" is also a Dom, married to a woman, and owns a BDSM club. I mean really, a person who operates a safe space for people to express their sexuality aiding someone FOR YEARS in denying their true self. Does that sound likely?

Leo prides himself on knowing what other people need, yet doesn't know that he needs to step out of the bloody closet. I just couldn't listen any longer to him saying that all the lying was for the best.

Dylan is a gorgeous free spirit and could have done so much better for himself.

I love these characters and this series by Andi & Lila and Michael Fell does a good job of bringing the guys to life as well as Dylan's moms. He's such an adorable dork so I was happy to see him find his inner kitty with Leo's help and also for Leo to come to grips with his sexuality, finding the courage to come out to his family. This was lovely and sweet. Highly recommended kinky contemporary MM romance.

Tada!

Having read Leo and his Lion, I was super excited for the audio. This desire was based almost completely on how much I loved Dylan, and how much I NEEDED to hear his voice! Leo and his Lion is the second collaboration by James and Wilde, and I have to say they might be my fav new authors of 2019. Their books continue to feature a lot of humour which isn't an easy feat in itself, but also has complex characters, interesting plot, and a great deal of heart. Dylan just makes me smile, and I loved his journey to discovering his own unique style of submission. Similarly I loved how Leo - a confident Dom - discovered confidence in other areas. The narration was great. Fell's choices for Dylan were amazing, and the tada! moment forced me to pause the book as I couldn't hear over my own laughter. Leo didn't initially sound like he did in my head, but I found Fell's voice for him worked really well. The only slight criticism I had was I did find the narration a bit slow, but speeding it up with audible's interface was an easy fix. I can't wait for Tony and his Tiger to come next

Oh loved it

This is the second wonderful book in this series, hearing him brought to life by Micheal Fell. I want to hug and pet Dylan he is so adorably himself throughout the book, and Leo is so exhausted as he is not out to his parents, he has to hide and the only place he feels safe is Knots. As these two fantastic characters grow closer and discover what works for them, they workout kitten play is for them the perfect way to get Dylan out of his head.
This is a series with characters that you feel you know, with sex scenes that are hot, I can't wait for Tony's story. Love these books to read or to listen to.

amazing story

I am really enjoying this series so far and Dylan is my favourite of them all.

I love the relationship and trust that develops between them, the ups and downs, the love and the chemistry.

I enjoyed the audiobook, narration was quite nice.

A delightful story

I really enjoy Leo and Dylan. Their story is absolute delight and very engaging. James and Wilde's writing styles are so very complementary and truly adds so many layers.

Sweet and adorable

I enjoyed listening to this book been brought to live through the narrator. I haven't read any kitty play before and I really liked it. I fell in love with Dylan straight away, I wanted to give him big hugs.

I'm going to have to get teddy and his bear and see what book 1 is like. I will definitely read more kitten play books that to this book.

Leo and Dylan!

Leo is a Dom. He is not out to his family but he lives his life privately through a Club. Dylan is a young hurricane, sweet and innocent but really sexy. He is way too young for Leo but that won’t stop their romance or make it any less real. I wish Leo had a bit more courage though, he was holding Dylan back. It is a good Daddy book and the secondary characters were fun and interesting. Who will be next?
