This is just a super book for learning Spanish. Really detailed and easy to follow. I would recommend this to anyone learning Spanish as a great resource.

Very Helpful, I would recommend it!

For the upcoming Christmas holiday, my family and I are planning a trip to Costa Rica. My family and I listened to this book to practice the Spanish we learned in high school. Unfortunately, mine was in the 1970s, and I discovered I remembered very little, but it helped me quickly relearn it. The audiobook is simple to follow, and they quickly practice their Spanish pronunciation.

Learn Spanish at Your Own Pace!

This is a great way to get immersed into Spanish, and learn it. But, the best part is you have support. There is a webinar you can access and there is a pdf you can get to follow along in English...as you're hearing the Spanish. Of course, you can go back and listen over and over again as you master the skill. I've had Spanish in college and it was just an absolute burden. However, this is much easier and better because you're exposed to real time conversations. It makes it easy to follow along, and pretty soon you'll be thinking along in Spanish as I have found myself doing. So, for me, it's a very good thing. I'm happy to have found this book. For anyone who is seeking to learn, this is an excellent way to master it.

I have been teaching myself Spanish for some time and have wondered how much my comprehension has progressed outside of my app’s short drills. This book is exactly what I needed. Instead of providing lists of words and sentences you might not use–or a focus only on tourism–the book contains dozens of relevant, modern, two-person conversations on a broad variety of topics. Each conversation is provided twice–at normal speed and about two-thirds slower.

The accompanying PDF contains translations, but I have chosen not to access it because I feel immersing myself in the conversations multiple times is the closest I would get to real-world immersion without living among Spanish speakers. The book comes with other bonuses: a monthly webinar with an instructor and a Facebook group. I highly recommend this to anyone seeking to up their Spanish-speaking game.

Great book to improve your Spanish!

This is a great audiobook for anyone who already has some basic Spanish and wants to improve upon it. It has 69 modern-day conversations spoken at slow and normal speeds. The slow speed is really good for understanding the conversation and the normal speed is a good test to see if you still understand it in a normal conversation. The PDF is also very useful to read along with it and catch anything that you don't catch with just listening. Highly recommended for anyone who wants to make a significant improvement in their Spanish!

Practical Present-Day Spanish Conversations

This book has helped me learn practical Present-Day Spanish conversations. Unlike many other audiobook books that claim that they teach conversational Spanish, the conversations in this book cover modern topics such as social justice, veganism, car ride apps, launching a start-up, podcasting, etc. The practical Present-Day Spanish topics of the conversations is what I like most.

Both entertaining and educational

I got a lot out of this book. There's no doubt about it, I will eventually listen to it a second and third time because it covers so much useful contemporary Spanish. The only thing I'd say that could be done to improve it is not only include Spanish speakers from Latin America but also include a handful from Spain.
