This book is great if you want to learn about Quantum Computing. The information in this book can help you whether you a beginner in this topic or an expert. Additionally what you learned can be applied right away. Must listen!

I was hoping for more technical detail, but overall it was a good overview and summary of quantum computing.

This book is a fantastic book that breaks down super super! complicated tech stuff into easy bits of information. It's perfect for people who love coding, tech, or just want to learn cool new things. The book talks about all these wild concepts like qubits and quantum gates but makes them super simple to understand. It's great for anyone who's curious about how future computers will work. The book is filled with cool examples and easy explanations, making quantum computing fun to learn about. It’s a must-read if you're into future tech!

Simplistic overview of quantum computing

This book touches on the right topics to give an overview of quantum computing: science, technology, algorithms, applications, etc. It felt like it was written for someone in middle school. Many chapters are "journeys" through some simplistic analogy, like quantum encryption described as traveling the Internet in a submarine instead of on a surfboard. If you're a layperson who wants to marvel at quantum computing, this book is great. If you're a college student or professional trying to use it as a primer, you should expect this book to present and define the right vocabulary and to present and attempt to describe by analogy a lot of the right concepts. There is essentially no mathematical treatment of the subject. There is also no assumption that you took an intro physics course or know anything about quantum mechanics. Personally I bought this book hoping for something more technical and it didn't deliver.
