After 14 years of marriage Laura and Alan sex life has become stale, boring and literally scheduled. Both are unhappy with this but still in love and want something to change. When Laura's neighbors show up for their Tuesday breakfast they discuss the issue and come up with a solution on how to reignite their passion. This is my favorite book so far of this series (each book features a different couple). I loved how kink and light BDSM was not shamed and that Laura stepped out of her comfort zone to surprise Alan with his fantasy. I love that these books contain couples who love each other and want to work through their marital bedroom issues, often starting after having kids due to time or body insecurities and that their husbands love their wives' bodies. Laura & Alan is a quick listen that proves you're never too late to experiment in the bedroom.

So much better than I expected

This book was so different (in a good way) from my expectations. I expected infidelity and graphic sex scenes. I was so thrilled to find a story that is truly a story where the couple go through some self-discoveries to improve their marriage. They have to learn to lean on others and while there is some terrific sex, it is not graphic, but tastefully erotic in what it includes and doesn't include. But the sex stays within the committed marriage and is tasteful and well written.

I think I enjoyed this one a little more than I think I should. I love how hilarious these all are but wholesome and thought-provoking as well. They also give you a bit of hope for second chances.

This series of short stories follows the women on Éveiller Drive. They all have their real life issues with their husbands, and as it does happen they lost their spark. What is a girl to do other than talk to their friends and formulate a plan on how to get that spark lit again. I think most women at one time or anther can relate to all the insecurities that these women face. The stories are short, but extremely steamy. This one follows Laura and Alan. They have been married for 14 years, and things has gotten a bit stale. Alan is tired of the same scheduled lackluster encounter. Can she let go of her control and let Alan have a spicy playful night?

I loved Lara. I could relate to her in so many ways.

I like Laura. Hollie does an amazing job bringing all the characters to life.

Did you have an extreme reaction to this book? Did it make you laugh or cry?

I felt extremely empathetic to Alan. Sometimes you need a little spice in your marriage to keep it interesting after being together for a long time.

I absolutely love this series. I love how each couple has a specific problem, but you can relate to each couple in a different way.

Laura schedules everything to the minute. Alan wants some spontaneity in their relationship. Loved this!

Hot and steamy

One of my favorite of the series. Sometimes it is hard to find that spark between you and you significant other after so long. The motions of love making become almost robotic. Laura and Alan are no exception to that. After some of Laura's friends get together and come up with a plan, can she save her marriage? Listen and find out!

Quick fun hot story!

Laura is a woman who plans, so much that she even plans her intimate time with Alan. And that is getting old and stale for Alan. The thing I love most about these Éveiller Drive couples is they are all someone we can relate to. Laura and Alan are no exception. And it's interesting the things that you discover in an online chat.

With the Audbile version, Hollie once again did a fantastic job bring the story to life with her narration.

Fighting the monster-in-law 101

This story focuses on Laura and Alan and how they work hand in hand to rekindle the flame after the birth of their twins and despite a mother-in-law hell bent on getting in their way. I loved how Alan was able to reassure Laura of his love that is not only about her body and how he draws clear boundaries with his mother.

Unexpected solution!

After years of marriage and kids, Laura is finding she and her traveling husband Alan never have time for each other. As Alan becomes more distant, she decides to take the bull by the horns and messages him her concerns. Now she gets the answer she isn't prepared for. And what an answer it is! These two are hot! I love this series not only because the women have such a great friendship circle, but the stories are very true to life. The problems these women discuss and find solutions to could be you or your friend and it's refreshing to have an hour of realistic issues told in a story. Maybe the outcome isn't what we would do, but it's entertaining and fun! Continued narration by Hollie Jackson brings it all to life as the girls chat and find their happiness.
