great story but....

Unfortunately, half way through this story (chapter 2), a loud booming voice repeats the warning from the start which tells you that it may make you drowsy and not to listen whilst driving blah blah, so my little boy always jumps up awake at this point and asks "Who's that man?? Who's that man??". The story then starts again (chapter 2) with a man reading it (a woman reads Chapter 1). Perhaps there is a way to stop this happening but I can't work out how.

All very relaxing - UNTIL

Would you recommend this book to a friend? Why or why not?

Seems to be fine until - at the end of the first run-through - there is a VERY LOUD warning to be careful not to fall asleep listening to it! (Oh, the irony...) If you're trying to get your child to sleep, stop it at 30 minutes to avoid having to then listen to it all over again to get them BACK to sleep.

How would you have changed the story to make it more enjoyable?

Don't have the warning in the middle!

Any additional comments?

Remove that warning!

Works for 50% of my kids

Our wee boy is sound asleep after about 10 minutes of this godsend of a book! Same thing with the sleepy rabbit one, though a bit of variety is a nice thing. Unfortunately my daughter prefers to focus on the story and uses it to stay awake!

I use this to put myself to sleep...

This has put me to sleep many times. My 2 year old likes the story and does fall asleep to it, as do I, and my husband!
