Lies, lies, lies is a fitting title

A very slow build to very abrupt ending. The author definitely could have provided more meat at the end.

Just tell the truth

There is something oddly compelling about likeable main characters who refuse to just talk to each other. At all points you think, "Well, if you just told the truth about your feelings, none of this would have happened." It is frustrating but you have to push through because you care about the fictional people involved.

I found most of the characters and situations to be quite believable. Realistically written interpersonal dramas and flawed individuals who are still good people. Endearing child characters who don't feel like they are written by an out-of-touch adult trying to make their children wise beyond their years.

There is only one over-the-top villain of a character who feels quite out of place. However it is only a single, swift act of violence that makes me think that. Overall a great, gripping read.

British! Fascinating! Intense! Intriguing!

I’ve recently relistened to “Lies, Lies, Lies” by Adele Parks. Narrated by Rachel Bavidge and Sam Woolf, this British thriller is a brilliant offering in suspense, with Parks expertly weaving together the intricate web of a married couple's relationship and the secrets that threaten to tear them apart. The narration is pitch-perfect, with Bavidge and Woolf bringing the characters to life in a way that feels authentic and engaging. I loved how the story kept me on my toes, with jaw-dropping shockers that I never saw coming. What I appreciate about “Lies, Lies, Lies” is how it explores the darkest corners of a relationship in free fall. Daisy and Simon’s marriage seems perfect on the surface, but as the story unfolds, we see the cracks in their relationship and the secrets they've been keeping from each other. Overall, I highly recommend “Lies, Lies, Lies” to those whom, like me, are looking for a gripping thriller. And at $6.99, it was a steal. EPIC doesn't even begin to describe this book. Kudos to Adele Parks, Rachel Bavidge and Sam Woolf for this enthralling listen.

Very enjoyable

The plot was great, loved the characters and the development and background of them. altogether, great book!

The plot continues to thicken

Just when you thought you knew everything that is going on in the story, there is a twist. This book is hard to.put down.

Wait for it...

I almost returned this but around the halfway point it really picked up and I couldn't stop listening.

I personally liked the book however the last 2 minutes ruined it for me. What a bizarre ending..I wish they stopped before she finally “confessed”

I almost didn’t finish the book!

I have a difficult time connecting with Daisy because she was in so many toxic relationships/friendships. I kept waiting for her to stand up for herself. I’m happy I powered through & enjoyed the ending

Listening. I’ve read another book by this author and did like it but this one was just outstanding. Loves the narrators s well. Great story, characters, and a pace that kept me wanting more!
