It works!

The only way my 10 year old son can get to sleep is by listening to this story he has ADHD and has trouble "turning off" his brain. When we added this story to his bedtime routine it was like magic. We went from nightly bedtime battles to none; we're happy and so is he.

Great story

This book works really well trying to get children to sleep.

I would recommend this book for children 1-9

The only thing I dislike about this book, is that if you want to do Fred Sanders voice m, you have to put on a sleep timer.

Mommy's bedtime miracle

My 6 yr old Amir a has had trouble falling asleep without me since birth. I'm guessing because of falling asleep while nursing for the first year of her life. I've tried numerous techniques to get her to sleep even resorting to giving in and cuddling her til she falls asleep to melatonin. I saw a segment on a morning talk show where a mom raved of this book. I had my doubts of course, feeling like a big failure for resorting to medicating my kid to sleep. Roger, his mommy, Uncle Yawn, Heavy-eyed Owl and kind Sleepy snail saved bedtime for Amira. A real Miracle. It even works for me, after a long exhausting day.

kids love it! what more can you ask!

The kids love it and repeatedly ask for this one, the tractor and the elephant versions. What more can an exhausted parent ask for.

Works to help my littles fall asleep

We have used this book among others to play at bedtime to help my 3 and 5 year old fall asleep and stay in bed. The tone and rhythm of the book do work to help! I like that it can be read in a male or female voice also!

Elementary and Middle School kids zonked out

Where does The Rabbit Who Wants to Fall Asleep rank among all the audiobooks you’ve listened to so far?

For my kids, it's number 1. Though they don't typically have trouble falling asleep, they love to listen to it and become entranced.

Who was your favorite character and why?

Uncle Yawn! I have the compulsion to yawn every time his name is said.

What about Fred Sanders and Kathleen McInerney ’s performance did you like?

I like that the kids can choose either storyteller. Mr. Sanders' performance is more subdued which my son and I like. Ms. McInerney's performance is more animated which my daughter likes.

Did you have an extreme reaction to this book? Did it make you laugh or cry?

The extreme reaction to this book is some serious shut-eye.... which is the point. ;)

Has helped improved my sleep issues dramatically.

I bought this book on a recommendation. I have trouble sleeping sometimes because my mind won't stop thinking. This book has helped me fall asleep by quieting my mind. It doesn't work all the time but a large % of the time. I use it a few times a week.

Bedtime Miracle

My son (5) and I play hard during the day but when bedtime rolls around he wants story after story so we can keep spending time together. This book has helped him to slow his thoughts and enjoy a good cuddle while on an adventure to fall asleep now. It has helped him to gently fall asleep. We own a couple of these books so that we might take bedtime adventures with different friends. After our first time through each, he has fallen asleep quickly, knowing that the stories have happy endings.
