Publisher's Summary

All year the half-bloods have been preparing for battle against the Titans, knowing the odds of victory are grim. Kronos's army is stronger than ever, and with every god and half-blood he recruits, the evil Titan's power only grows.

While the Olympians struggle to contain the rampaging monster Typhon, Kronos begins his advance on New York City, where Mount Olympus stands virtually unguarded. Now it's up to Percy Jackson and an army of young demigods to stop the Lord of Time.

In this momentous final book in the New York Times best-selling Percy Jackson and the Olympians series, the long-awaited prophecy surrounding Percy's 16th birthday unfolds. And as the battle for Western civilization rages on the streets of Manhattan, Percy faces a terrifying suspicion that he may be fighting against his own fate.

I loved how the fight scene was layed out. I cried my eyes out towards the end of the book as the prophecy rang true. The ending left me wanting more.

Great book! Performance was ok.

The story is great and very captivating. I love the Percy Jackson series. My only struggle was Jesse Bernstein's performance. Some of the characters just sound more dopey than they should. And wherever he said Percy's name, all the characters sounded annoyed with him.

Best series ever

I started reading these series when I was a kid.. I remember going to the library and seeing the big book and reading its title "The lighting thief" and funny as it may seem I was forced to read it.. At first I didn't understand but the more I read the more I enjoyed readying the book... And from that point I couldn't stop reading the book.. And you can imagine the surprise it was when I discovered there were more books!! I started reading all of them and I have not stopped yet.. I love these series like my life!!

I think the 5 book has the most beautiful literature and that it was easy to visualize what was going on through out the book and I love the way the author brought the story to life.
