Publisher's Summary

Honest, silly, and laugh-out-loud funny...the first book in Liz Pichon's hugely popular, award-winning Tom Gates series.

Tom Gates is the master of excuses for late homework: dog attacks, spilt water, lightning... Tom's exercise book is full of his doodles, cartoons and thoughts as well as comments from his long-suffering teacher, Mr Fullerton.

After gaining five merits for his "Camping Sucks" holiday story, Tom's work starts to go downhill - which is a pity, as he's desperate to impress Amy Porter, who sits next to him....

Review: It was a very enjoyable experience. Rupert has a very good voice for this style of book and is very good at narrating
Disliked/liked: I liked the songs and the way it was narrated but it does take a while to get properly good :D
Who would you recommend this to: I think anyone under 12 will particularly enjoy this book

I loved it!!!

I liked it when he did a really funny song about Delia because it was really fun but I didn't like it when he was doing quire because it was a bit weard because a boy was doing it and when the were swaying into each other. I recommend you should let little children like my child to listen to on journeys because it is quite long aswell as funny.

Kind Regards Lauren Sofia ?????
