wish they sang the lyrics

I really like the story, but I didn't like how the narrator spoke the lyrics and didn't sing them.

THIS WAS AMAZING!!

The narrator was perfect , the way she engaged with the story. The story was one of the best things ever and I can't wait to read more books like this. I love the way characters said they needed to balance each other out.

Funny and entertaining read

I had a really good time with this books, I really enjoyed the secret or pal thing. Hate to love romance is definitely one of my favorite tropes, and I can happily say Kasie West delivered it right to me.

Amazing

This is my first kasie west book and I was not disappointed. It was really good. All from the character build ups to the relationship. As being a 17 year old high school student myself; a lot of the things that happened at school in terms of miscommunication, drama, friendships hit home to me and that made it even better. Definetly worth the listen/read!!

Fun story

This was a fun story to listen to. It took a bit for me to get into, but once I did, it was very charming. A very fun story! Touching parts as well

First love recaptured

Read this book and remember what it was like to fall in love for the first time. Beautiful story funny and well rounded characters. I read it twice back to back and listen to the audio book a week later. Loved it!

so cute

This whole story was so cute from start to finish. I really like those hate to love style of relationships. there is a part of me that is wishing for more on these two characters. the narration or narrator really brought the characters and story to life.

Like is Right

I liked this book for multiply reason them being....
I have a soft part for pen pal stories writing letters instead of paying attention in chemistry class. I like the whole unknown who the other person is because I love my mystery books. Even little ones like in these book which was pretty easy to find out. But that's okay for it was still really cute.
The fact that Rider and Lily have a not so pretty pass was a fun time also. Because Rider and Lily's best friend use to date until there fighting got to much for her. Now though they still fight whenever they see each other which brings interesting moments.
Also the music element was sweet to me. I loved that Lily is a wannabe songwriter who have a notebook that she writes in constantly. Even with how crazy her life is she still have time to practice her craft.
I loved Lily's family and how its never quite thanks to two creative parents, a older sister, and twin brothers. They are very loving yet crazy family which are always a point to me.
Didn't like:
the high school drama which is always a problem for me.
The fact that sometimes the arguments where a buffer and not needed.
Or the fact that the romance seemed a bit rushed. I loved when it was building up not how it just seemed to happen.

Not my favorite Kasie West book but I still love her and can't wait until By Your Side which has the MC's stuck in a library yes please. :)
