Editorial Reviews

The American Library Association’s 2006 Theodor Seuss Geisel Honoree is fun, quirky and sure to enchant young listeners. Skip Hinnant ("Fargo North" from PBS’s The Electric Company) provides the silly sounding, sing-songy emphasis for the puns and hyperbole in this first of author Tedd Arnold’s quirky tales of Buzz and Fly Guy. Their sweet friendship begins with a chance meeting while the boy is searching for a smart animal to impress the judges at The Amazing Pet Show and the fly is flapping his wings in search of something slimy and tasty.

Publisher's Summary

Boy and fly meet and so begins a very funny friendship in this tale filled with hyperbole, puns, and slapstick from Tedd Arnold.
