wonderful but no page turns
Would you listen to Frog and Toad Are Friends again? Why?
we will listen to this over and over again!
What was one of the most memorable moments of Frog and Toad Are Friends?
we love the story about when they chased the kite!
What about Arnold Lobel’s performance did you like?
these are just classic stories that have a moral to them!.
Was this a book you wanted to listen to all in one sitting?
Yes, it is fine all in one sitting, though there are several stories in it.
Any additional comments?
The only bummer is that there are no page turn signals for kids who are not yet reading! So sad!!

Enjoyable story -
Would you recommend this audiobook to a friend? If so, why?
My two-year old loves to sit and listen to it. And she doesn't sit still for much. LOL! The recorded story is done well, and the background music is a nice touch, though sometimes distracting. I really would have liked to have had the pictures come through as this was a kindle version... you'd think with the technology it should be possible for them to do.

want to hear the story, not music
I love listening to an author read their own work, but the background music and sound effects were occasionally too loud and made hearing the story difficult.

My daughter loves this entire series, listens over
My 4yo daughter listens to frog and toad stories over and over every evening after bath and before sleeping. These stories are fun adventures with great performance and unforgettable characters. This is the first book that was more than 10 or so minutes that she listened to all the way through. It never fails to keep her attention and she's often laughing out loud even though she's heart the stories dozens of times. Great audio book

A Classic for All Ages!
I always love when the author performs an audiobook, and this is fantastic! Arnold Lobel reads the stories in the exact way I imagined whenever I've read through it (both for myself and as a read-aloud to my son). I love the use of music to enhance the story, both as background and sound effects. Even though the book is geared toward kids, it appeals to the grown-ups as well!
