Imagine it were possible to bring the characters from a book to life. Succinctly Phenomenal
Artemis Fowl—devious, smart, yet boyish—is a beautifully built character, as is every other character that populates this story. It’s interesting that this may be considered a children’s book because it uses vocabulary wider than most “adult” books, and it’s narrative structure is equally on caliber, if not exceeding. I will certainly be reading more...

Fun entertainment for grown ups
Listened to this book with my husband and had a great time, it was clean, fun and entertaining. Not just for kids. Looking forward to listening to the second book! Narration was incredible with all the voices he does.

Original and Absorbing
I've listened to the entire series and loved the experience. I felt myself completely transported to another world. The action is super exciting and the characters are unforgettable. The narration is perfect. It is very different from the Harry Potter books but if you are an adult (like me) who enjoy well-written young adult books, you will enjoy the fun and the originality of this series. I didn't reallly like Artemis Fowl after the first book... I wasn't sure if I wanted to read the second one but I'm glad I continued because seeing Artemis develop as a character is what made me truly love the series. I often laughed out loud listening to the books and even cried a few times.

Super cute for right age group.
Great starter book series for tweens. I bet it'll become a movie or tv series. I smiled and chuckled throughout the book. I'd definitely consider this a great gift for the holiday season. Very clean language. I couldn't put 5 stars mostly due to my old and jaded life. Yet, I can imagine my younger imagined version of myself giving it 5 stars.
