The Savage Wars never ended.

As Kill Team Victory and General Chhun take control of the cities on Kima, a war every bit as spiritual as it is physical rages in the deepest parts of galaxy’s edge.

The Legion and the Republic military at large struggle to deal with a sudden multitude of planetary invasions and uprisings, with rumors of mysterious ships breaking the peace achieved by Article Nineteen.

Meanwhile, Captain Aeson Keel continues his search for Prisma, aided by friends from both his past and present. But only mankind’s oldest ally can hold back the tide of ultimate destruction. For an unknown darkness is closing in, and the Republic once again stands on the threshold of galactic war.

Join us for this, the first entry in the thrilling two-part conclusion to Galaxy's Edge Season 2!

I rrally dont belive it. If so why not just take the 16hrs in 1 book. For me it looks like they decided that when they get to 8 to 10 hrs, they would rather sell that and restart again . When 25% of the book is just a waste of time , this really become a very short story, specifically when alot of it is the same part from different angles.
And I really don't think that they "had to cut out" parts so much, when a whole chapter (+ more ) is banter between bots. I would assume that like what happened to Nilo, or more expanded background of the "Urmo" planet (or Ravi maybe explain why the 2 ancients chose different paths) or whatever they claimed to have cut (a size of this book).

25hrs became 16 because of narrators time?

Readers of the series have to know by now what they are getting into with the run time thing... *80% story divided into a zillion mini-stories and then 20% fluffer. Seriously, very creative series of books that started with semi-realistic military plots that devolved over time into... well, something else. I wish the authors had stayed on course without falling into cliché "force", crux, quantum whatever and strange time-dimension, savage 80s video game BS, So many tangents and different characters, story arcs... it would take a flow chart the length of a semi to follow all of it. Still better than all the other series with the word Galaxy in them that devolved a lot sooner.

Look, I'm an older combat vet and I have enjoyed most of the GE run, so take my ranting with a grain of salt. My preferred genre is military fiction, and it is difficult not to compare this series with my favorites, Forgotten Ruin and The Lost series, which likely would not have happened without the success of the GE series, so here is some positive. The sheer amount of story and run time in the expanded GE universe is amazing. The collective authors created a massive galaxy, history and character set. It has been a bumpy but overall positive experience and I feel my money has been well spent. Your mileage may vary. ;)

Sapper Hawk, out.

Mixed but overall good

this book was absolutely enthralling, bombshell after bombshell after bombshell. legends showing up and the story as a whole coming to a climax, I cannot wait to listen to part II. R.C. Bray is a trooper and an amazing narrator. love this series, and love this Oba damned book. KTF Leej's!!

My only complaint is that the book was too short. This is by far my favorite series. Now I can't wait for part 2.😜

Fantastic as always
