Beautiful YA historical fiction meditating on mindfulness
Book 2 in the trilogy, a prequel, that aims to the experiences of a slightly older reader than Wise Child through the character development of Juniper. In Juniper’s story the wheel spins again, going through the similar doran apprentice sequences, but these themes are focused more on maturing, meditation and mindfulness. Juniper examines, jealousy, her own privilege and learns to move past things to find her true calling. Grateful this has made it to Audible.
