Angelina Rocca has such a cool, smoky, sexy voice that rolls into my ears like butter on a hot bun. Whew 🥵 She Lit. It. Up. in this book! When she was narrating Georgia she was great, of course, but my favorites were the times she brought out Georgia’s snarky or silly side that had me laughing out loud. When Angelina does Lenox though??? Yeah, I melted. I’m not ashamed 😏

Sebastian York. What do I say about a man that has had my heart for years just by the sound of his voice?? (Don’t tell my husband lol he is already jealous of Sebastian!) SebYo is GOLD at everything he narrates, and his work as Lenox is no exception. He brings out Lenox’s sweet and stoic side but also his dominant, protective, and downright SEXY self! (I.e., see chapter 21 🥵)

J.Saman my gosh can freaking write an intriguing story! I’ll admit this is my first book by her but it will absolutely not be my last! This book had heart, angst, snark, wit, banter, suspense, and spice. I was captivated by the story from the beginning. Since I hadn’t read the other books in the series I didn’t have the background of all of the characters, but J. Saman did a great job of giving the reader enough that I didn’t feel confused, just intrigued so that I want, no NEED to go back and live in this series!

Storyline

An in-depth view into family loss and second chance to love, understanding. Plus the female is her own hero that was a plus.

Great performance

I have enjoyed this series so much. Each book has followed a different guy from the band and where they have ended up since. Our final book is Lenox’s book. He has been the quietest of the group and it was really interesting to get inside of his head. While everyone in the group was affected by Susie’s death, it hit Lenox extra hard since she was his sister. I also felt it was sweet how Susie stayed an important part throughout the series, especially with her ring.

Lenox is surprised when he is approached by Georgia who he previously had a 2 year fling with and broke her heart. Georgia is asking Lenox to marry him. She is desperate so that she can keep her father’s company and not have to marry her ex fiance. While they both agree for this to be completely fake, it is hard to ignore the way they have always felt about each other. They have some obstacles to overcome though. Georgia’s cousins are Lenox’s friends and they do NOT approve. Georgia also still has her ex fiance as a complication and there is also a surprise person who turns out to be against them.

This was such a beautiful story of their love and reconnecting while also being a thrilling story of this mystery that has gone on within Georgia’s family. Lenox is clearly the right person for Georgia and to solve this mystery. This is one of my absolute favorites from the series and I am sad to see it end!

I was going to read this book as an ARC but when I saw that Angelina Rocca was narrating and that the audio went live early, I quickly downloaded it! I have no regrets!

I loved every book in this series but this one was my favorite! Greyson and Fallon are a close 2nd!

Another hit from J. Saman! Honestly, I'm not surprised. I've really enjoyed everything I've read from her. To give you an idea of how much, I've read 15 books from her in just a little over 7 months, and I will 100% be finishing out her backlist and reading whatever she comes out with next. Her writing style is fun and easy to read. Her characters have some serious depth that I am rooting for them from the first moment we meet them. The stories are fun and interesting, and the romance is top-tier.

In Irresistibly Dangerous, we are following Lenox and Georgia. We met Lenox in book one of the series and subsequently in each book thereafter. While we hadn't met Georgia until this book, we've heard about her since early in the series, being that she is a cousin to two of the guys from Central Square. What we didn't know until this book is that Lenox and Georgia have a past, one that her cousins are aware of, but that none of them speak about. Lenox has also done a really great job of not seeing Georgia since they part ways years ago. But now Georgia is coming to Lenox for help and him saying no was never an option for him.

I seriously loved both Lenox and Georgia. Lenox was a character I was very much interested in from the moment we met him in book one, and this book did not disappoint. While we didn't meet Georgia until this book, I loved her from the moment we met her. She was such a strong female lead. Coming to a man who broke her heart years ago takes some serious courage and strength. I loved how their backstory was revealed over the course of the book, and I loved how it impacted their present. I loved the conversations Lenox had with those around him when it came to his feelings for Georgia. I loved that she didn't let him off the hook so easily, and I love how he fought for her to see his true feelings. The romantic suspense was a great addition to the story, and the way all the tropes worked together created a fantastic story.

Great book

I really enjoyed this book. Great writing and great narration to. Angelina and Sebastian great job 👏

Too long

I enjoyed the mystery part of the book but I never felt a true connection with the main characters. They lacked depth. They had a history but by the time he told her which was also new to the reader for me it was past the point of depth in the relationship. Due to them being alone together it made the story more bland.

The narrators were very good.

But just to note this book had a high rating on both Amazon and Goodreads so my review is not favorable but to many others were favorable.
