a closer balance of desire

I love that we are getting back on track with a MFC that's not a sissy or a man hater. it's a fine line between no bending a little and doormat. I'm excited for the second book.

Love the story!

I absolutely hate not being told this is a cliff hanger! And now I hate having to wait three weeks for it to come out! Not good for continuing listeners!

Poor Plot Line

Mia could’ve sued the hospital, and the situations didn’t seem at all like anything, any woman with any brain would ever do.

Cliffhanger

3.5 stars for me. It started off really strong! Then we were shown that the MFC isn’t a total pushover in certain aspects of her life, like work. She is however, a complete doormat when it comes to herself and love. I wish she had more self respect . I will likely read the second book in hopes that she is a stronger leading character. The main male character shows her little respect throughout the entire book yet she falls in love with him anyway. I want to feel the connection. Hopefully it’s there in book 2.

Without the fantastic narrators, I might not have finished.
