Love this series!

Angelina Rocca and Dane Anderson narrated all 3 books in dual narration. Angelina Rocca has the sweetest voice. She does such a great job showing the emotion these characters are feeling. Dane Anderson has that growly voice that ladies love. I’m not a fan of the voice he uses for momma G, but that didn’t deter me. They were both so good!

Book 1: Kelsea & Wyatt: Wyatt & Kelsea have been best friends since they were kids. They both secretly crushed on each other for a while but both were too afraid to admit it. Wyatt’s twin brother, Walker, decided he was tired of waiting around for them to realize their feelings for each other so he wanted to help along the process. So what did Walker do? He kissed Kelsea right in front of Wyatt. And boy did that get things rolling! This was the perfect example of a friends to lovers story. Their deep love, history and connection for each other really helped when it came down to a romantic relationship. Their love story was so beautiful. What’s better than being in love with your best friend?

Book 2: Evelyn & Walker: Everything He Couldn’t is a small town, single mom, marriage of convenience love story. Evelyn accidentally got pregnant by Schmitty, Walker’s best friend. They weren’t serious, just having a little fun. But then before Evelyn had the baby, Schmitty died in a tragic fire.

Six months later, Evelyn finds herself in the middle of a custody battle with Schmitty’s parents so what does Walker do? He proposes that they get married to help her case.

Walker also had ulterior motives to marrying Evelyn. He’s had a crush on her for a long time. Maybe this is his chance. Evelyn’s walls were wayyyy up... with good reason. She just needed someone to show her she was worthy of love. Somehow Walker wormed his way into her heart and held on tight. The way this man went to battle for her... SWOON. He’s literally the best husband in this fake marriage. He was also sooo sweet to Evelyn’s daughter.

Book 3: Shauna & Forest: High school sweethearts who get a second chance. I’m obsessed with Forrest. He was grumpy but underneath that tough exterior, it was just because his heart was broken. The way he loved Shauna was 😍😍😍 I loved to see the woman grovel for once. I appreciated that he didn’t give in so easily since his heart was broken multiple times but once he did it was fireworks. I loved seeing them work through all their pain and heartbreak and find their way back to each other.

Wow! Absolute beautiful narration by Angelina and Dane! I already read the books so I was excited to listen to the audiobooks! Both narrators did a fantastic job bringing the story to life!! Each couple had its own journey and Angelina and Dane brought all the emotions! Such a great series!!

Amazing Series

Wow this was an amazing series and it was my first time checking to see what Harlow James writes and all I can say is that this was amazing and would definitely recommend this series to anyone who is looking for book recommendations! I loved each character and couples in this book!!

Angelina Rocca and Dane Anderson did an amazing job playing all the different characters they had to play in each book it’s just mind blowing how they can change their voice to either a male or female voice!!

Ever listen to a series that you wish was about real people and in a real place ? This series became that way for me . I wish i can visit Newberry Springs and meet the Gibson family. It was so easy to fall in love with these characters. Harlow James has a true gift for writing beautiful stories that warm my heart ❤️.

I love small town romance! This is the perfect book to kick off the Newberry Spring series. After reading this story, I cannot wait to see what Harlow has in store for us with the other characters in the series!

Wyatt and Kelsea have know each other forever, both have been hiding feelings and they take us on an angsty, slow burn journey that is filled with love, care, fear and new beginnings.

Harlow writes the best characters (and stories) that pull you in, you immediately get attached to, and tug at your emotions. This book is like a big hug and keeps you turning the pages because you are lost in the story.

Harlow James brings us another beautiful love story with amazing characters, emotion and small town love.

I went through so many emotions reading this book - joy, sadness, hope and want for John and Evelyn.

Harlow gives us these characters that are a bit broken, full of love and who need a big hug!

Evelyn is trying to put one foot in front of the other as a single mom. She’s doing her best but is struggling with emotions, what could have been and some regret.

John is a sweet sweet man who has a big heart.
He is carrying some burdens and some hidden desires.

Evelyn and John are such an amazing couple who help one another find forgiveness, hope and love.

Sad this series is ending but Harlow gives us a great final book.

Shauna and Forest were HS sweethearts and ended their relationship with hurt feelings and some hidden secrets. As they reconnect several years later there is still a lot of hurt and anger.

They’ve always loved one another…never stopped. Communication is the key and as they open up to one another the truths from the past come out and they can begin to heal and trust.

So many emotions and feelings while reading this book. Love all the cameos from the other characters in the series.

Needing a little nudge to see what life without Kelsea would be like, Wyatt’s brother convinces Kelsea to pretend to date him (for a hot minute). It was just the nudge Wyatt needs, but what happens next? Could they gain everything they have always wanted or do they stand to lose it all?

I have been wanting to read this story in the Newberry Springs series since I read book 2 last fall. Wyatt and Kelsea are the ultimate story of friends to lovers. Kelsea has already lost her family, her fear of losing her found family is so profound. Plus she is deciding to finally go after her own personal goal, but then along comes boyfriend material Wyatt. Does she lose herself, her family, her dreams? And then there’s Wyatt. The mouth on this man 🥵 And the way he was jealous/possessive once he tells his brother “She’s mine,” I was done for.

Hearing Angelina Rocco was able to bring Kelsea to life with her internal monologue, fears, and strength. Once Dane Anderson opens his mouth as Wyatt, I melt for every chapter. His possessiveness, yes sir 🫠

Evelyn has been casually seeing John but needs him to step up when she finds out she is pregnant. Walker is John’s best friend and tries his best to get John to see everything he will miss out on if he doesn’t step up. One tragic night changes everything. Six months later Evelyn is a single mom and Walker is processing his survivor’s guilt. To make it worse, Evelyn’s parenting is called into question. Walker suggests they get married to show solidarity as a family unit. Little does Evelyn know, Walker has loved her for awhile now. Walker is ready to claim his chance at happiness.

Evelyn’s family really is awful and the past she got away from makes her so apprehensive to commit to anyone. I loved how much Walker loved Evelyn and Kaydence right from the very beginning. Both Walker and Evelyn have to come to terms with what it means for them to be together now and watching them both learn to understand each other better through this process was amazing for their characters.

Walker Gibson is mine. And I will fight anyone that tries to claim him. This book had my favorite tropes and they were done perfectly: small town, single mom, marriage of convenience plus firefighters and found family.

Narration Review: Dane should always read as any matriarchal figure. His voice as Momma G was priceless. And when that man growls as the MMC 🥵 Angelina brought so much passion and depth to her part that I loved her voice for everyone.

Shauna and Forrest were high school sweethearts and even had plans to go to college together before getting married and running Forrest’s family ranch. But right before graduation, Shauna changed the plans, only letting Forrest in on part of the truth. Secrets and long distance didn’t work well. Fast forward 15 years and Forrest is in Vegas for a work trip and who should he see but Shauna. And meeting her fiancé. After realizing he would regret everything if he didn’t tell her how he felt, Forrest goes back to Vegas to ask Shauna to call off the wedding. Six weeks later while nursing his heart break, guess who shows up to work at his family ranch; Shauna.

Oh I loved this second chance story! Forrest and Shauna need this healing. I absolutely loved that once Forrest was willing to admit what he wanted and willing to forgive past mistakes/hurts, he was all in. And yet he was open to tell Shauna that he was in but needed time to process what that meant and how the past had impacted him. It made their love feel more realistic. Forrest has kept himself closed off from his family for so long and watching Shauna bring him back was endearing and humorous at the same time (hello musician and elf costume). His dad’s gift in the epilogue had me in a puddle of feelings.

I loved this series so hard!

I listened to this entire series on Audiobook. The narrators are Angelina Rocco and Dane Anderson. Both performances are stellar. They both bring such emotion that is needed to this series and that is what makes these books exceptional. They narrated all 3 books and each one got better and better. I cried and laughed and this is all a testament to the amazing voice performance from these 2 actors. If you are an audiobook listener, I recommend this series wholeheartedly.

First I want too ay how much I enjoyed this series. It is filled with romance and family, Angst and heartbreak and ultimately each couple gets their HEA. They go through several challenges to get there but they do have their happy ending. What is so great about this series is the reality that is put into the stories. It's not an easy go and as we all have experienced life, we know that it is not all wine and roses. This series brought tears to my eyes and love to my soul. If you are looking for a series to get lost in and give you all the feels in the heart, this is the one for you.

This book is my very first Harlow James book!! That's right, very first!!! It will not be my last either!! I am adding all her books to my TBR! I loved this sweet, small town romance!! Wyatt and Kels know one another inside and out since they were little things... both keeping their feelings hidden from another, until Walker steps in. Lol.
I mean, you know this much since it is in the blurb. I like the twist on the twin stepping in to give his brother a nudge. Ha. I am not gonna lie. Kels and Wyatt made me want to be in their world and go... "Ugh, you two!!!" But in a completely good way, of course 😌. I love Wyatt and his dirty talk and the way he loves Kels. It is so freaking sweet!! Ugggh, I have another favorite author of small town loving. 😍. I am looking forward to more in this series!!! Well done, Harlow!

My bestie book friends! This book was everything! Everything! I devoured and loved every single minute of this book.
Walker.... oh . My . WALKER! I loved him so much. He was so good to Evelyn, but not only Evelyn but Kydance as well. The bond he had with that little girl was priceless. But the way he loved and adored Evelyn. Oh my gosh.
I loved how both of these two grew together and his patience while Evelyn had to work through her past. I honestly have nothing but great things to say about this book. Go read it. You will not be disappointed. A strong female doing it on her own but a swoony guy who shows her he is willing to stand beside her and help as she needs it? What's not to love about that?

I can't believe this series is coming to an end! Ugh. I loved these characters and this town. Forrest and Shauna, my goodness!!! What a great book to end such a wonderful series! Forrest, my good night! He was intense in the best way possible! He loves with every fiber that he is. Shauna, I am not gonna lie. I did not like her. Hahaha. I was so worried, but then, like 20% in, I was like. Oh my gosh, look at her being a grown-up and making these decisions. Then I chilled out, and all was good. Hahahaha. I think it was overly protective of Forrest. So Harlow, I apologize, and I am sorry for my blip of negative thoughts against Shauna. Shauna is a force! She is strength and determination wrapped into this beautiful spirit. She owns up to her fault and faces her challenge head-on.
I loved this second chance romance. The emotions thY both of them had to go through to find one another again was so sweet! I had this book read in one day! It hits you in the feels and leaves you feeling all warm and fuzzy!!

I had the absolute privilege of being able to go back to Newberry Springs and relive every special moment again, onky this time, I was able to listen to these books. I was able to experience it with my ears, and the same feelings I had while I was reading came back. The voice actors were stunning in their performance with bringing all these books to life.
This book series and this town was so fun to experience. Dane does such a great job with Wyatt, Walker, and Forest. (Swoon level) My ears were extremely happy!
Angelina l, dear night her voice is so mesmerizing and beautiful. I can listen to her all day! Just like what Dane did, Angelina brought Kels, Evelyn, and Shauna to life.
They both did an amazing job with these books. Highly recommend!
