Good start to a new series 🙃

I think this book was a good start for the “Gallagher” series!!! It’s was 1 of a tamer “rock” book that I’ve listened to... but still worth the credit 😉

Exactly what I was hoping for from Layla Hagen ❤️

I read a review for another one of Layla Hagen’s books and the reviewer said it was a “low angst “ series. That is exactly what I was looking for! I wanted a story, or better yet, a series, with characters who captured me but didn’t require so much turmoil and gut wrenching scenarios. I need some light summer heart happy reads, heavy on the HEA, and that is exactly what I have gotten from every book by LH so far. This was such a sweet story. Starting book two in the series tomorrow. Maxwell Brothers are my favorite but this was just as good.

It wasn’t the best but wasn’t awful.

Some things were repetitive and got a little annoying. I rolled my eyes a bit at some of the things happening. But it wasn’t awful. If that even makes sense.

A Sexy & Steamy Story

This was a fun, sexy, steamy story and a great start to the Gallagher series. Brayden and Isabelle made beautiful music together and I loved everything about their love story which was flirty and romantic. Brayden is a swoonworthy rockstar who prefers alone time rather than parties and Isabelle is an independent and sassy woman who enjoy living life to the fullest. These two are complete opposites but totally work together and bring out the best in each other. Author Layla Hagen’s storytelling is simply amazing when it comes to contemporary romance and she brings the perfect blend of witty dialogue, romance and heartfelt moments. Joe Arden and Maxine Mitchell are a winning duo and I love when they narrate audiobooks together. These two brought this story and the characters of Brayden and Isabelle to life. I loved it and looking forward to listening to the next audiobook in this series.

Great Audiobook, excellent narrators!

Loved Brayden and Isabelle!

Braden is a rock-star, literally. He will do anything to keep his family and friends safe, even if it means alienating himself from them.

Isabelle is a counselor that the management team wants to hire to assess the band and their fans in order for the band to be more “out there” with the fans.

This was so good.. not surprising.. I mean, it is Layla Hagen!! Loved listening to this story and how it chronicles their love story. So we’ll written and full of fun and a bit of angst.

Joe Arden has a voice that is smooth and very easy to listen to… he could read the phone book and I’d listen! He does extremely well with character definition that you know who each one is we adult. Maxine Mitchell also has a voice that I love listening. Her male voices are excellent (female too, but a female narrating male voices are not always as good as hers).

Wonderful story line and so romantic! The narrators are the best! This is a must read it was entertaining throughout the entire story! Love, love, love this book!

A STRESSLESS SWEET LISTEN

This was a sweet, low angst romance that smoothly glided its way to the happily ever after thanks to the understanding and thoughtfulness of two very likeable people. A hero and heroine who liked at first sight and did everything right as they got to know each other deeper and deeper and have sexy passion-filled times together. The lighthearted family dynamics between the heroine and her siblings was heartwarming and their easy banter warmed the story. Much more of a ‘rockstar’ lite story with low angst there too.

Worth a credit? Yes if you’re looking for a sweet easy going romance that’s dual POV and expertly narrated.. then you’ve found your next listen.

Great story

I love the Gallagher’s! Isabelle’s story is perfect for her! I enjoyed getting to know her more and her story. Can’t wait for the next book.

Rock star romance

I love that Layla Hagen has started a “new” series with the Gallaghers but includes the characters from her previous series with the Winchesters. This is a beautiful love story between two very different people from very different worlds but they find a way to make it work. Very little angst, plenty of sexy times, and great characters make this a must read for me. Joe Arden and Maxine Mitchell are rock stars in the narrator world and do a fantastic job as expected in this book as well. If you like Layla Hagen you know what to expect and don’t want to miss this one. Loved it!!
