Druids Matter

An interesting addition to the wonderful world that was created by Donna Grant. I loved Scott and Elodie and some old favorites showing up’ Especially Balladyne!

Enjoyable listen

For some reason I remember the narrator being better but found the performance lacking with this book. The typical romance with mysteries and betrayal are present and since it's a formula I thoroughly enjoy, I am well pleased. Bring on the series Donna!

Iron Ember

Are you ready for the next branch of the Dark World? Heck it is probably the Dark Universe by now with the Warriors, Druids, Reapers, Fae, Dragon Kings and all the rest. It is no secret I love this world Donna Grant has created and the Skye Druids are fitting right in. How can you go wrong with Rhona and Balladyn leading the charge? Yes they were in this book, and like always I lived for Balladyn being Balladyn lol. Based on the end of thee books, like the late chapter end, I don’t think Elodie’s story is completely over. Something is up with both her siblings and I am not sure if it is good or bad. Scott had me guessing the whole book, and I am not sold of him totally yet. Look, it is Donna Grant and the Dark World. I have more questions after this book then answers, but I think that is what I love about it.

So excited about a new series!

If you are caught up with The Dark Kings, The Dragon Kings, and The Reapers series by Donna Grant then you definitely want to continue with this new series, Skye Druids. The world that Donna Grant has built is exciting, magical, dynamic and full of fantasy and mystery. I was not ready to say goodbye to these characters so I am thrilled that this new series follows the stories of the Skye Druids and another group of "Others". The romance between Ellodie and Scott is developed and wrapped up in this book but there is definitely more to come in the next book and this is the beginning of another fascinating series.

Ruth Urquhart was a new to me narrator and she was fantastic. I was drawn into the story from page one and she kept me engaged throughout the entire book. I am anxiously awaiting the next book in the series.

You did it again

It has been a long awaited series since Ms. Grant informed us it was coming. What an amazing beginning. The Isle of Skye is a place I have wanted to know more about in this series and Elodie and Scott's story was a fantastic beginning. I can't wait for Book 2

We have seen Skye Druids in the Warrior series… in the Dragon King series… and the Reaper series… now they get a series of their own!! This book was everything you would expect from a Donna Grant book and more.

Almost 4 🌟

At the beginning I was ready to quit but I kept on because I love Donna Grant's work. Midway caught my attention specifically when are heard the Reaper. What had me annoyed was the constant winning and insecurities of Elodie even after finding out what happened in the past. Usually Grant's heroine are tough and this is why I only gave 3 🌟. I hope the next one has a tougher crew.
