I wasn’t crazy about the reading at first because it was choppy, but as I pushed forward, I appreciated the vulnerability. It’s a great book that teaches one mindfulness, compassion, and my favorite chapter was Chapter 11

From the moment I heard Dr. Doty speak, he cracked my heart wide open (in the best way). I cried many times during this book and feel so grateful that I can also practice this “mind magic” in my own life. Such a transformative book. Empaths, anyone who’s lived through trauma or poverty — anyone, really — would be better served by reading this beautiful book.
