Publisher's summary

Oberon has made a splash on the world. With his undead armies amassing, he continues to gather strength to unite the world in death and destruction. To do that thoroughly, he needs more than a few things. Hunting down an artifact that will give him power equal to a god, he is forced into the Wandering Labyrinth. A place that even the gods failed to conquer. All is not as it seems inside though. Something is hurting the Labyrinth, the question is whether Oberon will hinder or aid it. The insurrection of Mayhem might be the final straw to force hidden powers that have slept almost as long as he back into the open.

Best so far - luv this series & narrator!

I didn't like the last one as much but I've been enjoying these a lot and this one is the best yet. I think the narrator added a lot to make it enjoyable as well because I could really picture the characters in my mind.

good book, narrator did better

it's by no means a perfect performance but I'm prepared to eat some of my words from my review of book 3.
she does a better job at pronouncing names ect, the only fault i found was with tertiary characters that were barely mentioned but Oberon is no longer Obreon which is good.
if you're reading this then you're 3 books in and likely are invested in the story already so by all means get this book.
if you were like me and hated the narrator at the start of 3 but powered thru then you'll find this better than that. more effort was clearly made and appreciated.

Really enjoyed!

I like this series a lot. The last book the narration wasn't my favorite but I now think Romy Nordlinger really adds to the whole experience of listening . I love her voices for the characters. Can't wait for the next!

the narrator makes it difficult to enjoy, again.

Every characters voice sounds the same. story is enjoyable but the pronunciation of similar names makes it difficult to follow who is speaking. done with this series in audiobook format at least.
