Publisher's summary

You’d think as the princess to the house of death, that I would be looked at with respect. You would be wrong.

A reject—that’s the best way to describe how I’m treated. All because I’m a hybrid. The monarchs of hell revere pure bloodlines and perfection above all else, and in their eyes, I’m a mutt.

Good thing dear old Dad, the Grim Reaper, has never once looked at me as anything other than his favorite child. Well, I’m his only child, but semantics.

Suddenly, he has tasked me with the job of going to the council summit in his place. An event that happens once every century to determine which royal house will be voted into the supreme position. A position people would kill for.

Why he thought the person they all regard as trash is the right person to represent our house is beyond me, but I come to find myself grateful for this chance. Because it allows me to meet them; the princes of each of the other five houses who make me feel like an equal for the first time in my life.

They ignite a fire within me that I’ve never felt before, and it scares me. It’s the type of need that I’ve hoped to never feel due to that side of me...my Succubus side.

Because what they don’t know is that I’m a fatal attraction. A kiss with me is the kiss of death, literally.

While attempting to convince myself and them that this can’t work, we’re thrown into a war between the six houses for control.

Who will survive in this game of deceit and seduction?

Author's Note: This audiobook has an 18+ warning and is intended for mature audiences. It is book one in the Monarchs of Hell series, which will end in a cliff-hanger.

Wonderful!!

I honestly could not put this book down once I started! This is absolutely a RH book but surprisingly this first one has no sex. Just lots of innuendo, kissing and light bathtime fun. Most of the time I only listen to RH for the steamy sexy times but their was so mush slow burn/building sexual tension that I didn't miss it! Ama is an absolute basass and her men are equally as intriguing. You do get a healthy does of possessive alpha male goodness mixed with some BDE. Also it is very much fated mates at first sight type love that seems to be blooming. All in all I'm intrigued by the houses and am starting book 2 immediately!!!

Great Start to a New Series

I love the energy of the harem with FMC. Lots of twists and turns within the families and their dynamics too. A lot of mystery and heat. Good narration and story.

Such a unique and amazing story!

I’m in my audiobook era and this one was amazing!!! The narrator is SO good.

BUT wow this is such a unique story and I love Ama so much!!!

I’m not the biggest why choose girlie, but all these men are so different and lovable in their own way.

I genuinely loved this book. PNR RH is my fave trope, and I needed a good one to bring me out of my reading slump. This did it!

Tropes:

- paranormal
- fated mates?? Maybe idk but I think that could be the case
- politics
- incredible world building

Female narrator is awful

The story and male narrator are fantastic. The female narrator sounds like a teenager and her timing is all wrong.

Glad I took a chance

No reviews when I got this book so I took a chance. The story was very interesting and it was way too short for me. I'm definitely look forward to the next whenever it comes out.

Only real issue I had was all of the male characters sounded the same to me. if not for the writing style and incredibly subtle inflections they had, I wouldn't know who was talking most of the time.

surprisingly good

I really wasn't sure what to expect going into this series. It's it sounded interesting just from listening to the sample and reading the synapse but you know that can be Deceiving. Having run into this scenario before or a story just keeps getting drawn out further and further learn and the authors do nothing but word play for word count sacrificing the overall story I was was a bit worried.. Thankfully thankfully with this series I was glad to find out that my worries the worries were unjust. While I do wish that each book was longerWith more detail given to various aspects I feel the authors did a very good job at keeping the story on track while trying to give each character AA fair personality not overshadowing one or the other. Likewise they did not turn it into a glorified orgy of a storyInstead keeping such interactions More subtle And not overbearing. The Narrators also do an amazing job of bringing all of the Characters to life and breathing life into the story itself. You can tell that they're very adamant about meant about portraying a good story as a nurse and not just going through the motions.Characters to life and breathing life into the story itself.
