Here there be monsters.

It was an offer too good to refuse: spend one month in the most haunted house in the world. When the reclusive owner of Duskwood Manor opens the door to five teams of paranormal investigators, there's no way my team can say no.

But there are no ghosts here. There are monsters. They live under my bed, in my closet, and watch me from the shadows, whispering filthy visions in my ear at night. Begging me to come with them to their world—the Void, where the monsters roam free . . . where they teach me what it really means to want.

Every night I disappear from the mortal world to play in theirs, swallowed by their insatiable, terrifying shadows. Consumed by their claws and fangs. Caressed by slick tentacles and endless, delicious hunger.

But the longer I stay in the Void, the harder it is to ignore its call.

There is a price to pay for stepping foot in this manor . . . and the monsters have demanded me.

Contains mature themes.

Yup, this is it. 🌶️🌶️🌶️🥵Everything you’d want in a monster romance- maybe more than you want. She knows we want that freaky deaky and she delivered then took it a step further. I openly said “oh my..” several times.

Oh my..

I had heard about the dark romance sector, but I never sought it out. I somehow fell upon this and now I think I’m officially a part of the aforementioned sector. I love this book a lot more than I thought I would and I can’t wait to read the second one.

The story line and spicy scenes

I liked the story. I’m new to this universe of monsters. But this was a good story

Unique storyline

I have always enjoyed HP Lovecraft style stories and initially didn't mind the more erotic nature of the story but in every situation the main character just seemed to instantly love the monsters with little to no character development aside from "I'm weird and so are these things so it must be alright". could be a much better book overall if it was given more detail and more character development overall.

Not fleshed out enough

Very interesting and spicy 🌶️ 🌶️🌶️ not at all what I expected but I loved it. I can’t wait to get the second book. I want a Mudra!! 🤭

This was such a great story.

Quite and interesting read, but very enjoyable. sexy and fun. The mystery was a Lil predictable, but still.very enjoyable. I'd read it again.

Creepy and Sexy

I think if I was new to the monster romance game I would’ve liked this more but it fell flat for me. I wish the monsters were more developed instead of just ::you are mate I have freaky dick:: I found it kind of boring. Also there was no reason for this to be a mystery. I feel like if Juno went in knowing about the inheritance and learning about the void then falling for the monsters along the way it would’ve been so much more interesting! Instead it felt rushed and lacking.

Just ok

It got me right from the beginning… The narration was really good… this over the road truck driver ,listened to it in the entirety while driving from Wells, Nevada to Oakland, California… Wish they had more from this author..

Held Captivated

The scenes were pretty good. I liked her partners, hated that they were always (even by themselves) referred to as monsters. That's fine when they were first encountered, but just felt wrong after that. These guys are written as full characters, not cannon folder in a dungeon. Could have just called them collectively "the others" or something.

As an HP Lovecraft fan, I was both interest by and bothered by how references to his work were included. Basically Lovecraft stuff tends to break the minds of those who witness these beings, the MC is barely creeped out by them at first then is quite cozy with the other world and it's denizens. To be fair, we do get to see one character lose their mind, and I can accept that the MC is just special. Personally I'd have been happier with more of a horror tone to this book giving the material and settings it's using.

Not Bad
