Publisher's summary

This book is a culmination of multiple months of meditating on scripture in order to identify the principles contained in each passage, grouping them together in the seven chapters presented in this book. I wrote this book for myself as a personalized prayer guide. I also offer it to pastors, missionaries, board members of Christian organizations and anyone who feels the desire to cultivate a more effective prayer life with a little coaching from the Holy Spirit who inspired the writers of the New Testament to pass on the lessons they learned in the field of ministry during the greatest revival of God’s people in all of history.
Seven New Testament prayer principles
I have identified seven general New Testament principles that deal with prayer. They are love, thanksgiving, faith, partnership, dependance, discipline and legitimacy. Doubtless, numerous other principles exist, however I have chosen to group those that I have identified under these seven general categories. Each chapter of this book deals with one of these general, overarching principles and subdivides them into their respective aspects. I make no claim to have crafted an exhaustive list of identifiable principles, merely a reasonable effort at organizing all references to prayer found in the New Testament into each of these seven general principles.
