Loved it!
This was my first introduction to Beverly Jenkins and it gripped me from that start. I fell completely in love with the characters and loved the mix of fact and fiction. Robin Eller was amazing in her narration. 5 stars all the way around!

BRAVO!! Once again Beverly has not disappointed.
This book flowed very nicely. I like it when a story has balance. Yes, it was a little predictable with the matchup with Galen and Hester but it still worked. It was an easy read and I can't wait to grab another one. What I love most are the history lessons so expertly woven into the story. Brilliant at marrying fantasy and truth! This maybe my fifth book by Jenkins, a fan, I boldly am!!!
