Sweet light love story

Fun, light love story with horses, bulls, and old friends and rivals. Nothing riveting but still pleasant summer read.

Wow

I so enjoyed this story. Cowboy, ex military and all round great alpha with an independent police scene investigator who partially owns an adjacent ranch. The dialogue is snappy and funny. The sub characters are entertaining. The animals add flavor. All make an entertaining story.I thoroughly enjoyed this one. I loved the male narrator. I could listen to him speak for months on end. And the female narrator was perfect for the role too.

but those wranglers...

This was a solid, low angst, really sweet quick listen (audiobook) Instalove and a cowboy. There was great backstory and I really enjoyed it.

Lani Lynn Vale did it again. She pulled another great story out of her head.
Between Ace, Codie and Scooby, I couldn't quit laughing & smiling.
And of course, Maxine Mitchell and Sebastian York were the perfect narrators for this series. They nailed the parts!!

Ace and Codie! Yes!

Beginning a new series from LLV and I have to say, while these characters are connected to others in previous series’, the book definitely took a different turn. There is no violence and no mystery or danger, just everyday living and falling in love. I secretly loved the switch up because if you know the story of the Valentine family, you would know that they have had enough of the drama and violence. Ace and Codie are fire and ice from the very beginning. Codie broke my heart in her opinion of herself and I really felt for her. I also wanted to jump into the book and fight some of the townsfolk for her. I’m glad that Ace and Codie found each other. Their love story was amazing.

This Audio was picked to perfection. Maxine Mitchell’s narration fit the voice in my head perfect and you cannot ever go wrong with Sebastian York.... smooth and sexy!

There was so much that I loved about the start to this new series. It's based in our favorite town of Kilgore (so you get to see some of our people). Ace and Georgia (Nico's Wife) are siblings, so you get some of how their life has turned out and the craziness that is their kids and humor.

This series is fresh and cozy at the same time. Both Ace & Codie live on heir own ranches that abut each other. When this fiery girl crosses paths with Ace, he is instantly determined to have her. How does he do this? Well he makes sure they cross paths all the time..... she fights the magnetic pull to him but she gets to the point where she just can't anymore.

I LOVE THIS STORY! I CAN'T WAIT FOR MORE VALENTINE BROTHERS!!!!

Divine Narration!

I was drawn into this sweet Texas love story by the exceptional voice interpretations of two very talented narrators. Sebastian York’s voice makes Ace so very sexy, & Maxine Mitchell delivered as the spit-fire of a woman, Codie. At times Codie was a bit too tough for me, but she landed well in the end. She never struck me as such a bad girl.

The Valentine brothers all played pivotal roles in this Texas ranch love story. While there was trauma in Ace’s past, angst was low key, & the listen was very pleasant - I definitely enjoyed the book, & will read more from this author.

This is a good story loved it all I would recommend this book to you and I loved Sabastian york as the narrator.

I LOVED THE COWBOY STORY!!!

I loved this story but had one issue with the horse Poppy she was starting to ride, if I'm not mistaken she indicates the horse is "a year old"? I ran back a few times, thinking maybe it says "eight year old" not "a year old", but still thought I heard "a year old". As a horse person, we know that you can't ride a year old horse.

All in all I loved the story, I loved the narration and look forward to more in this series.
