I didn't quite know what to expect in an audiobook filled with recipes, but this worked out VERY well! I wish that I'd had my own and paper ready at the beginning of her discussion, but, Ms. Byrne does a fantastic job of speaking clearly and slowly enough for a listener to be able to write down a few notes.
The book contains some great, practical tips for anybody who needs a good kick in the rear to remind them that Diabetes is no joke. I'm not diabetic, but a few people in my family are, so I figured I'd better get a book along these lines to help prepare more wholesome meals.
The recipes are great for family-sized meals , which I really appreciate. It will make it a whole lot easier for a diabetic to stay on track while also helping the whole family eat, delicious healthy meals.
