Great running training to help me keep focused.

Already ran a few half marathons but I find it hard to keep my training consistent outside of races. This audio companion certainly helped. Started at week 9, would like a more advanced version.

Great! I ran my first 21k and it was great!

It is a great program. lots of useful advises! I manage to ran not just 21 but 33k!!! It really works great, just do not rush the training.
The only advice to creators is to list two workout sessions at the begging of the session rather then at the end:)

Please, create the same for 42k and 50k racers!

Awesome training

I signed up for a half marathon on the suggestion by a friend. I had only just began running in 2019, only a couple of 5 k's.
I used this , starting at week one. Listening to Katie as I ran and doing it all. The runs per week were good for me. I work twelve hour night shifts, so finding the time was a challenge. I lost sleep some days, but stayed with the program.
I finished the program a few weeks before the race, which gave me time to tune up and refine. Ran a few 10 Ks before the race.
I did my half marathon in 2:26:10. I'm already looking forward to next year. Running alongside thousands of people will help push you to the finish line. Be patient, don't run the first mile all out. Enjoy the run.
There will be days, that may be a struggle, but persevere, YOU will make it.

excellent motivation

This training is no joke. There will be days where the last thing you want to do is run, walking out ofnthe door will seem impossible, but if you push yourself it is TOTALLY worth it. id neger raced before in my life and i started this training because I wanted to do something bigger than myself. Because of it i was able to run my first half marathon and have met some amazing people. running 13.1 miles is a task that seemed insurmountable at first, i couldnt even run 1. Coach Katie reminded me that I was worth putting the effort in for this and ask the miles went by i found this book to be about so much more than just running or training. its tge realization of just what exactly you are capable of when you put your mind to it.

Great Encouragement and Strategy for Beginners

I'm 60 years old and out of the blue decided to run a half marathon in Hawaii. I used to run 5 miles on the regular, 30 years ago but that is the longest I had ever run. Katie literally teaches you how to run by breaking down all the components of your body and what they should be doing at all times. She moves you gradually through the process of being prepared and unafraid to tackle a half marathon. Thank you Coach Katie for your time investment to the project of being available on an audible format.

Great even for marathon veterans

I've run 26 marathons, but after an injury I had trouble getting back to distance training. I loved how this audiotape felt like a friend to run with during my return-to-running phase. Somehow, the reassuring words and well-known tips kept me company on those hard runs. I wish there were longer ones for marathon training - it might even persuade and train me to do another marathon.
