great story, great narration

such s beautiful story with a faithful family, showing the different societies of the early 1900s, learned a great deal about Mammouth Caves.

Faith

Kim & Lauraine Snelling are 2 of my favorite Audible Authors. I love their entertaining, pure, faith based books. This one brought back childhood memories of one of our Summer vacations to Mammoth Caves.

Loved it!

This book is well written and beautifully narrated. I enjoyed it from beginning to end.

Choppy

Wonderful story but recording is choppy and often repeats itself. If fixed I would rate it five stars.

Another wonderful book, I love all these clean, Christian romances all with a different story line.

Very good Christian story. Thoroughly enjoyed the mystery as much as the Christian aspect. Wish there was already a series of these group of characters :) Kim is a wonderful writer and the reader/narrator was excellent!

Great author ; Great narrator

I actually chose this book because Kim Sawyer is a very good author, and Kate Forbes is top notch narrator. Sawyer writes with great character development and a unique story line.
And it's hard to find a narrator I like as much as I like Forbes. I choose books to read where she is the narrator and I don't know the author. That's how good she is.

Excellent as always

Before I even begin listening to this author's books, I know with confidence that it is going to be 1) clean from beginning to end. 2) keep my interest all the way through. And 3), have good clean moral values all the way through. The villains can be true villains without subjecting the listener to foul language, and the heroes and heroines are normal flawed individuals, but will always ultimately look to God for their deliverance and salvation. The narrator is highly professional in portraying all the various voices and nuances of the narration. You forget that you are being read to, and are drawn into the story totally. Although she has a nasal quality to her voice which of course she cannot help, you soon forget about it because of the excellent quality of her narration.

Such a beautiful story. Written so well I could envision the people and the land perfectly. Will always seek out books from this author.
