Very touching story.

Not every story ends as expected, but this was a great read. Highly recommend it.

Enjoyable and heart warming

Kim captured the family dynamics very well when secrets are woven into relationships. Only one flaw in the writing. The author could have done better research. Big round bales of hay weigh 8-12 hundred lbs. At least any baler I have seen. ...so...300 lbs seems laughable. It is always disappointing when facts are incorrect in a story. But don't let that deter you from enjoying this story. It is a gem!!

A very good listen

I've not listened to Mennonite stories before, but this first book left me wanting to hear more. I will keep checking back to see if the next book appears.

Loved this book. Very difficult to turn off. I was completely surprised at the ending.
