Story
It's not you; it's your schedule. Does it sound like magic? It's not. We've all heard of circadian rhythms - those biological processes that give us jet lag and make us night owls or early birds. But few of us know just how profoundly these diurnal patterns affect our overall health. Bad habits - like skipping meals, squeezing in workouts, working late into the night and then trying to catch up on sleep during the weekend - disrupt our natural cycles. A growing body of research on chronobiology reveals just how sensitive the human body is to these rhythms all the way down to the genetic level.

Story
Take stock of your life: Based on your last 30 days of work (or marriage, or parenting), would your company rehire you? Would your partner immediately recommit to you? Would your children want you to continue to be their parent? The easy answer is, "Absolutely!" But it's probably not the honest answer. Your life might read like a success story, and your parents and friends might even think you have it all figured out, but you have a secret: You feel out of place in your own life. You'd rather binge-watch Netflix than think about what's next. You're living on autopilot.

Story
After the passing of Kute Blackson's mother in 2017, he discovered that the powerful lesson his mother had been modeling her whole life had always been at the heart of his own teachings - he just hadn't realized it. What was that keen insight? Surrender isn't passive. It isn't giving up. It's strong and courageous. It's about tapping in. In this inspiring book, Blackson traces how surrender was a key factor in the lives of so many great people throughout history, and shows listeners how they can move past self-imposed barriers in their lives.

This is a book for working women and mothers who are ready to release the culturally inherited belief that their worth is equal to their productivity, and instead create a personal and professional life that's based on presence, meaning, and joy. As opposed to focusing on "fitting it all in", time management, and leaning in, as so many books geared at ambitious women do, this book embraces the notion that through doing less women can have - and be - more.

Absolutely worth a credit.
I was hesitant to buy this book because I'd never heard of the author and only had a few Amazon reviews to go on, but I listened to the sample and liked the narration, and liked that the book hadn't been loaded with obviously fake reviews as so often happens on Audible, so I figured I'd give it a shot. I listened to the book straight through after buying, and I have nothing but good things to say about it. Not only is the narration conversational and engaging, the content is ACTUALLY GOOD. Not a bunch of silliness and vague ideas and humble-brag filler, but well-stated truths and actionable pushes in the right direction.
I'm into the whole self help thing, and I can't stand books of this type that are simply entertaining but lack actual substance because I want to do the work the book is (at least supposed to be) about and use it as a way to focus on what I'm doing and keep myself motivated. This one hit all of my (high and fussy) marks for a book of this type. If you're on the fence about buying because you don't like fluffy, useless self help books and worry this might be one - it's not. I say go for it.

Perfect Audio book to get you going!
If you love her YouTube channel you will appreciate her book. She gives practical advice with personal stories intertwined. I enjoyed listening to this every morning to give myself a kick in the pajama pants. She is both practical and funny, straight forward but gentle. I found a lot of value in her advice on how to create a personalized morning routine. If you've watched her videos and are wondering if you should bother reading this book still, I say yes. It consolidates all her info on morning routines and managing your time well. I would recommend this to anyone who knows mornings are important but needs guidance in curating one that fits your lifestyle.

I have been a huge fan of AmyTV on YouTube for quite some time now and couldn’t wait to get my hands on this book! I bought the audio version and couldn’t resist also purchasing the paperback version the minute I finished listening today. I’m excited to have it in my hands to be able to take notes, do the writing exercises and really put these incredible lessons into play in my own life. I am living a good life...
Amy Schmittauer Landino I truly thank you!!
Good Morning, Good Life is a breathe of fresh air. I’ve followed your YouTube channel for years now and long before this book I’ve been living a “good life”. Amy has such an easy-going approach to living your absolute best life and what a really like about this book is the writing exercises at the end of each chapter.
Jen Sincero did a very similar idea and it is so helpful when focusing on your journaling. I don’t believe this book will be for everyone but what I can promise it I’ll recommend it to anyone looking to work on themselves.

Morning routines never sounded so achievable!
Amy knows that everyone needs to have the morning routine that works for them. "You do you!" This book breaks it all down for you and even calls you out on your own BS!
If you want a morning routine that works for you, this is the book for you.
Her writing tone is real and to the point, with some sass thrown in.
There are helpful exercises to help you nail down what you need and want from a morning routine and examples of routines from other entrepreneurs that have also nailed their mornings.

amazingly insightfull
So on point, it was incredible. Somewhere in the middle it seemed She was talking directly at me... it was kind of scary actually... The thing is that Amy resumes all possible outcomes on how we find excuses not to thrive. But then again, She also gives solutions. It was as a very good "read" and very light. With practical exercises fueled up by the mantra "no excuses". got a person all fired up !

a YouTuber like ads here and there
Bought this book during my daily morning walking routine to Uni. This book sounds like full of ads to me, this program, that software is mentioned pretty much full of Youtuber sponsored companies I heard in many places online. And ofc they all not free or open source stuff.
Not worth a credit IMO, Amy is surely sounds like a smart marketing girl for sure.

This has changed my life
You think you don't have time for a morning routine? Think again! I have two boys who are not yet teenagers, a dog, a cat, a husband and a part-time job and I've managed to make it work - so you can too. You just have to want to make your day - and life - better. It's possible when you read this book. Highly recommend!

Captivating and motivating!
I just finished listening to this book. It's so inspiring and motivates me to start my mornings right! I've already started implementing changes into my day by creating a morning/night routine that is right for me! It's a super easy book to listen too and doesn't take long to finish. I enjoyed listening to this book while I was going on morning walks or driving to work. Amy well done. I've been watching your videos for the past year and they always help me to become a better person each and everyday. Thank you for this gem of a book, I will definitely be recommending it to my family, friends and work colleagues. I look forward to reading your next one!

Witty and down to Earth reality
This story is awesome, the authors sense of humour adds colour and vibrancy to a sometimes hard to do change.
I thoroughly enjoyed this book and have listened to it twice. The second time through I actually did some of the actions recommended. Owned the book for two days so far. The actions have already given me some clarity and a better understanding of myself and where i want to go in life and using a morning routine to make it happen is suddenly NOT scary.
