THE TIKTOK FANTASY SENSATION THAT'S SOLD OVER HALF A MILLION COPIES, PERFECT FOR FANS OF SARAH J. MAAS AND JENNIFER L. ARMENTROUT

'It's the arrogance of men to think so little of women. And it'll be their downfall too'

Locked away in a castle on the snowy mountains in the Sixth Kingdom of Orea, I have never known freedom.

No one can get in or out. Apart from him.

King Midas, who rescued me from the streets. Who gave me food, shelter, and his heart. Who I promised to love forever.

But when political upheaval sees me sent across kingdoms to a future I no longer understand, everything I thought I knew about King Midas is shattered . . .

The world has only ever heard his story.

Now it's time to hear mine.

Praise for The Plated Prisoner Series

Gild is a heart-pounding fantasy romance, and this outstanding book will keep you gripped until the very last word. It’s beautifully written and is a truly riveting story. If you love Sarah J Maas and Jennifer L Armentrout this book is for you! This series is gripping, enticing and darkly romantic. Don’t miss out on this un-putdownable read!

This series has stolen my heart, my breath, my regard for anything else. I've never been so immersed in a story before-never read characters that have felt so real. I've cried, laughed, screamed, thrown my kindle across the room, picked it up again, swooned . . . These characters, this WORLD . . . it's everything. Raven has written a story for the ages, destined to go down as one of the epics

Raven writes with a magic that comes to life on the page. Every single word gleams like gold

This is one of those series that started off phenomenal, and only gets better with every subsequent book.

This series is amazing and I can't recommend it enough. It is one of the best New Adult Fantasy books out there.

TEN GILDED STARS! Remarkably original . . .and the prose, people . . . gorgeous, gorgeous, gorgeous

An emotional rollercoaster

What I've enjoyed so far about this series is how it's a metaphor about real, emotional issues

I devoured [the] first book and it ended on such a nice cliff-hanger that I am thirsting for the next one

lovely world and exciting

I enjoyed the idea and the world verymuch. performance was top. however the story pace was too slow for my attention span despite listening to it at 1.4 speed

Read this only so you can read the second one!

I kind of dragged myself through this book I didn’t like any of the characters, auren seems very stupid and I don’t know what she wants with Midas. However after reading the second book, I get why the first book is like this. So if you can’t get a grip on this, just keep on going, the second one is where things start to pick up, the plot evolves and you start to understand why the first book has to be this way. I’ve only read book 2 so far but just finished it and now I’m hooked and can’t wait to download the third. PS auren finds her brain in the second book so far I’m recommending this series and I love the narrator. The spice is not my cup of tea as it’s mostly rape or close to it but I have a feeling/ the hope that in book three it might turn into somewhat more consented spice

One of the best books I’ve consumed this year

I hope the whole saga doesn’t disappoint, but the story and the performance were literally GOLD 🫶🏻✨

Meh

Narrator did a great job. The world building felt unfinished and left me wanting. Very slow moving, character development was underwhelming. Honestly at some point I put the reading speed to 2 just to get to the end

This is golden magic

This narrator is much better than the other edition.
Adult fantasy at its best
