I wanted it to be better

I am a huge fan of Devney Perry where I do not hesitate when it comes to purchasing her books, but with that said I am on the fence about this one. The actual story line is much better than the delivery of it. Foster had a much better story that Talia who came across as whiney and insecure to me, I get why she was that way but the constant review of her thoughts was annoying, way too much overthinking out loud. Of the series this one is my least favorite. I wanted to like it way more than I did. I do feel that Jasper and Emila have a story coming.

Really Enjoyed This One!

I was not expecting this story to be what it was... I really enjoyed these characters and their story.
I love the way Devney writes her stories and the way they flow. She will capture your attention in the first few pages and keeps you hanging on till the end...

I am excited to see what is next in this series!

Second Chance Romance-Sign Me Up!!

Who wouldn’t thought UFC fighters could be hot…whew Foster is now hi up on my book boyfriend list. And adding in the single daddy aspect just makes me swoon more. Then adding Connor Crais as his narrator. Damn triple threat!! The story was beautiful and moving. I love all the intimate elements as well as seeing Talia let down her emotional walls and seeing her accept the love she deserves. A must read for fans of sports romances and second chance romances.

My favorite so far!!

Foster and Talia take second chance romance and make it feel like a fresh start and truly new beginnings. Talia is carrying this emotional wall around with her, and it was beautiful to watch Foster chip away at her fears and doubts. Garnet Flats reeled me in from the very first chapter, and kept me on my toes all the way through the epilogue! Just when you think you know what Talia and Foster will face next, you’re given another piece of the puzzle that makes it all make a little more sense. Devney Perry has the ability to make you want to pack and move to these small towns that she writes about. I love the town, the people, and the romance! I Highly recommend getting lost in second chances with Garnet Flats! Connor Crais is audio gold!!! Cindy Kay is new to me, and I will be looking to listen to more from her.
