Pour me another Whiskey!

This prequel to book 3 has whetted my imagination and I can't wait to see where it leads. Melissa Foster and ALL her Whiskey's are the reason she's at the top of my favorite author list

She’s short but I felt like the story of her escape needed to be told.

Perfect prequel

Audiobook Review: Freeing Sully is super short but a great prequel to For the Love of Whiskey. Sully has escaped a cult and Cowboy is protecting her on Redemption Ranch. This is the story of Sully. The story of her life in the cult, her escape, her hopes and dreams, and her future. I highly recommend listening/reading it before you start For the Love of Whiskey.

The narrator, Meg Sylvan, is perfect for Sully. She keeps Sully naïve but aware of how living in a cult is not the normal way of life. Sully’s spirit, her will to get out of the cult life, and her willingness to put herself out of her comfort zone to find a “normal” life had me riveted to the story.

Quick read to carry on Whiskey tale.

I don't know why, but I always want these little prequels to be a prologue. It is very cumbersome to go through the whole download process for 35 minutes. That said, the suspense written into this particular prequel was good. I appreciated the descriptions and the continuation of the previous story. Overall, as always, good writing.

Great Prequel!

This is the second book in The Whiskeys: Dark Knights at Redemption Ranch Series. This is a great introduction to the novel For the Love of Whiskey. Meg Sylvan did a great job bringing this short novella to life. She has a beautiful voice. Looking forward to listening to For the Love of Whiskey, the next book in the series.
