Publisher's summary

Four Minutes is the latest brilliant techno-thriller from the #1 internationally bestselling duo behind the Sons of Valor series.

It is said that no plan survives first contact with the enemy, but what if you remove the one thing no one can control: uncertainty about the future?

Special Operations Chief Tyler Brooks might not know quantum mechanics, or have an eidetic memory, but he is the very best in the world at one thing: leading covert ops. When an unpredictable enemy causes the catastrophic loss of his entire SEAL team, Brooks is recruited by Pat Moody to lead a new elite squad, Task Force Omega. Moody’s promise—access to mind-bending tech that grants a glimpse of the future.

Together with Navy Intelligence Specialist Zee Williams, Brooks leads a new kind of counterterrorism task force, one that collects intel from the future to stop attacks in the present. But there’s a catch. Each mission can only last FOUR MINUTES. Stakes quickly escalate when Omega discovers an unprecedented future attack against America threatening the lives of millions—including Tyler’s daughter.

Despite their prescient advantage, Brooks and Williams find themselves thwarted at every turn as they try to stop the plot. To make matters worse, they have somehow gone from hunter to hunted, targeted by an unknown enemy hidden in the shadows. With the country on the brink of nuclear war, Tyler’s daughter in mortal danger, and a commanding officer they’re not sure they can trust, Omega Team faces a terrible dilemma: Even if you know the future, is FOUR MINUTES enough time to change it?

Great ride, a must listen

Outstanding operators story, needs to be a series. Exponentially better thanks to Ray Porter. Key characters were intriguing but could’ve been less politically correct.

Andrews and Wilson are great writers! Ray Porter is the best narrator! If you’re familiar with these three gentleman, you know that’s accurate. This one is everything you would expect and more. I couldn’t stop listening.

Wow!

There was nothing about this book that I disliked. This book was one of the best books I’ve listen to. It was superb both in the performance in the storyline.

Great SciFi AND action tale.

Well-realized and believable characters. Set in a realistic current world with techno thriller/Science Fiction elements showing novel imagination. Story was well paced and exciting. Use of multiple viewpoints helped keep understanding high (and avoiding the often murky complexity of time travel stories).

A great story and a fun listen. Narration was excellent. Highly recommended!

Different, but I liked it.

“What can you do in four minutes?” An interesting list of responses are provided and continue throughout the book.
Not a book I would normally get, but I can’t wait till the sequel.

Wild Ride - 1st book in an off-shoot series!

Note: Ends on a slight cliffhanger but it is expected as it is a series. Don't ding a suspense series when an early book has a cliffhanger.

Who do you trust?
A special forces mission starts with a painful and horrible decision made by people thousands of miles from the battlefield, then devolves into a disaster for a Tier 1 Team.

Who do you trust?
A spook recruits you with the enticement that a way has been found to prevent team member losses with a new technology.

Who do you trust?
As you learn about the technology from the person running the program, you find that you are kept in the dark about the entire program and fed just enough info to keep you on board.

This is a fast-paced story that takes place in a few locations. There is the world building which seems a bit slow but is required as you read deeper into the story.

If you could travel forward in time for four minutes before being brought back into current time, would you?
